It's not a good first impression when you walk into a hotel and the receptionist doesn't even bother to look your way, but just carries on with the conversation she was having with another group of guests. Fortunately the waiter in the restaurant noticed us standing there and fetched the patron. When we went up to our room, she was...

Lovely seaside town about 30 minutes drive south from Calais. It was ideal for us to stay over the night before returning to the UK. The hotel is on a busy street but the double glazing kept most of the noise out. Would not I think be good in very hot weather. And the bar opposite had very loud karaoke...

I chose the hotel as a one night stop at the end of a holiday in France as a convenient place for the Eurotunnel. It was central (good for restaurants) and had private parking which was a bonus as the car was laden with Champagne and other expensive goodies. The room (no.29) over looked the front street and had a...

Central location on main street - very busy in the day but quiet at night. The front bedroom was too small and the rubber sheet was not conducive to a good nights sleep. Moreover, the drains are due for an overhaul as our bathroom was smelly. The Food was excellent, wonderful fish, freshly cooked. We knew about the car park...

Stayed here one night en route to Normandie, could really do with an elevator!!! Rooms were basic and dated, but nice and clean. Got attacked by mosquitos all night but hardly the hotels fault! Breakfast was basic but nice. The courtyard is a beautiful spot to relax.

We enjoyed a very pleasant quiet room facing the rear car park. The front rooms would be noisy facing the road traffic. Check where the car park is, as you need to turn off the main street and we did not see any signs. The main street parking spaces were full. Traffic was very busy! Plenty of car parking space...

Another happy visit to the hotel - the Patron Jean-Mark and his wife made us so welcome - this time with two children - A wonderful family room /suite with a double bed and en-suite facilities on the ground floor with (much to the excitement of the children) an 'upstairs' with three beds plus toilet and washing basin etc. The...

Clean and well presented bedroom. Bathroom was a good size and had a bath too. Beds were very firm and had the typical French nuisance of underlying plastic sheet. We had a room overlooking the main town street which got quite noisy with traffic. A rear room in the hotel would be much quieter. Ear plugs advised! Reception staff were...
