The hotel is situated on the Bernstein lake and it is very picturesque. However, it is absolutely unsuited to the modern business traveler. There is NO wifi in the rooms, barely a weak signal in the lounge. There is NO air conditioning: when I stayed there the temperature in the room was 30°C and it was impossible to sleep: either...

Just one night in this hotel during a business trip. I think it has been refurbised after the ex DDR period. Clean but nut much comfortable. Only one Pillow and very small. Small Towel. There is no WI-FI. I had a huge room, the n.6, which is an apparment. Cozy but decoration but discutible style I had a dinner in...

The lovely mansion is a sight for sore eyes. The food isn´t that great unfortunately, It´s nothing special and rather pretentious and overpriced. The staff is friendly but could do better as well. Everything taken into account...you find better value somewhere else.

The "Villa am Bernsteinsee" is situated directly at the lake, close to the harbour of Bitterfeld, but not very central, about 2 km from the city center. It's a beautiful old restored building.
