We loved this B&B! Eileen was a friendly, helpful host who greeted us with tea and pastry. The rooms were comfortable and spacious (we had a 4 person family room). We even had a fridge in our room. We enjoyed strolling around the farm and...More
I choose this place due to it being a farm. We live in the country at home and my kids always are saying they are "country kids" so thought this would be nice. I was very pleased-the owner was very welcoming and they had a...More
Our booking came very late and last minute as we had booked online up the road - there was a mix up with bookings, but they sent us Eileen's way, which ended up a blessing. She accepted us at last minute and welcomed us warmly....More
This B&B is amazing! My wife and I had never visited a B&B before and we really didn't know what to expect. When we turned into the driveway we were greeted by a very sweet and loving dog "Paddy" and he was out there every...More

I would agree with mtd330, get Eileen to give you advice on what to see/do, we had a stroll around the B&B and then went to a local game of hurling in Kilrittain, Eileen recommended the local pub for dinner and we had a nice meal there before heading to the game. We only stayed 1 night. From there we had a short stop in Clonakilty and sorry that we did not stay overnight as it looked like quite a vibrant town, lots of little restaurants and pubs. We stayed 2 nights in Caherdaniel, this is a great place from which to visit the Skellig islands, we love wildlife and if nature and wildlife interests you I would highly recommend a boat trip to the UNESCO site. You must book in advance, if you want to actually walk on the island, as they are limiting numbers due to preservation issues. Have a great trip, experiencing Ireland is a must .....
