We had a combined business/ vacation .Used this location as it was a good location, easy walk to dining options and sight seeing activities. Front desk staff offered suggestions for dining and secured taxi for the ride. Rooms are very large with big closets, very clean.
Everything needed for a great business stay; welcoming efficient courteous staff, quick check in, good clean rooms/wifi etc. If coming as tourist would be very amenable too as located very centrally Enjoyed a walk to local food market and up hill to the castle. "Jazz and Wine of Peace" with events in Gorizia and the area is a fantastic annual music festival that is highly recommended.
We were looking for a hotel in Gorizia and this seemed to have the best reviews. The price was reasonable, certainly by U.K. standards. Parking was free; I hate paying for that. The hotel is centrally located and easily accessible. It isn’t a resort hotel, but neither is it intended to be. It’s used by aircrew from the nearby airport. I particularly enjoyed the breakfasts. All the fresh cappuccino you could want, at no charge. Great local prosciutto and cheeses, plus, of course, bacon and egg if that’s your preference. I’d use this place again.
Great hotel and price in a good location especially if you like the colour orange. More a business hotel than a holiday one, so relatively quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Do yourself a favour and have the breakfast!
This hotel is within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops and the train station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely appointed but the shower was very small. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were often cold.
Everything perfect. It is my second stay at the hotel and I was not disappointed. All the staff is very courteous and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. The breakfast is very good and every care is taken to maintain safety and cleanliness
Fantastic place to stay. Central and everything is within walking distance. Breakfast was amazing. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Plenty of restaurants and places to eat closeby. 15 min walk to the train station.
I had business in Nova Gorica, Slovenia which is next town to Gorizia. Rather than staying in hotels in Slovenia, Best Wester Gorizia hotel is better choice regarding price, service and ocation. Room is clean, roomy and more importantly quiet. Breakfast is acceptable, certainly not comparable to that of the Best Western Slon hotel in Ljubljana. However, in this hotel, the lady staff serving breakfast made extremely good cappuccino and espresso. I have my share of cappuccino and espresso and those I got from this hotel are among the best. Such good cappuccino and espresso were very good for me who just arrived from transatlantic flight and suffered jet lag.
I have family and friends in Gorizia. I have been to this city before but this was my first time at Best Western Gorizia Palace Hotel. I was looking for a good deal somewhere near the core of the city, and found it here. Clean, comfortable, modern and convenient with friendly and helpful staff. Shops and stores just steps away. Free parking for those arriving by car.
Comfortable accomodation, very well located, only a few minutes walk to the Castle. Check in and check out were professional. Our room was on the 5th and last floor, with a balcony facing the surrounding hills. Despite being on the main road in town, it was silent. Both the room and the bathroom were spacious. Wi fi worked properly. Toiletries were very good but could include cotton swabs and makeup remover. I really appreciated slippers for customers and a choice of pillows (soft and firm). Well furnished minibar with 2 bottles of complimentary water, coffee maker with a choice of coffee and tea. The only down side is the parking, which is supposed to be free for customers, because unfortunately the lot is very tiny and nobody check if drivers park properly so you find cars occupying 2 spaces cause they're not parked inside the stripes... It would be great to have no problems about parking, maybe the hotel could arrange for a better solution about this issue. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel but it is only a 5€ pp. Anyway it's plenty of bars and coffee shops around. I would recommend this hotel.…
