From the moment we arrived in Polignano a Mare, our trip was nothing short of amazing due to our stay at San Michele Suite. The hotel was absolutely stunning, cleanliness was impeccable, the daily breakfast was delicious, the welcome-drink on the rooftop was so appreciated, the stunning location, the effort the staff made to arrange any excursions and reservations we desired and the everyone that worked there was so kind. We are so grateful for our stay at San Michele Suite and to the staff at San Michele Suite that made it such a perfect stay. We look forward to returning soon!

The suite with a balcony overlooking the water was a special spot to be served a fantastic breakfast. Bed comfortable, great shower and outstanding staff. Valentina went out of her way to arrange tuk tuk, dinners and parking. Loved hearing the church bells and being able to walk to so many good restaurants.

I could not rave more about my experience at this hotel. After checking in to another hotel we were not happy with the room and were desperately looking for another hotel for just one night. We called this hotel and they not only had a room for us, they came over and took our luggage (there are no cars allowed in the area we were staying) and delivered us to the most beautiful room facing the sea. The room was beautifully decorated and the staff was so accommodating. When it was time to leave they arranged for transportation, walked our luggage to the van and even offered to accompany us to the airport. What a great experience. (The only suggestion I would offer would be blackout shades as the light illuminating the sea sealed into our room. Highly highly recommend.

An absolutely wonderful stay in the heart of Polignano A Mare! Communication was great from the beginning with the hotel staff contacting us a day prior to arrival. On day of arrival, the hotel staff spoke with our transfer driver to ensure he knows where to drop us off so that they are there ready to assist us with luggage. It’s because the hotel is located in old town and you cannot reach there by car. The staff were all absolutely amazing, kind, happy, funny and helpful. They are like a big family. We booked the room on level 2 (which is reception level so you don’t need to go up spiral stairs) and had direct views of the most popular beach Lama Monachile. Note not all rooms have beach views so make sure you know when you’re booking. Service, room, amenities, breakfast were amazing. Sunset drinks on the rooftop are a must, they probably have the best rooftop in polignano! Highly recommend

My wife and I just spent two nights at the San Michele Suites. The location is perfect - right next to the water - and the rooftop provides great views of the water and town. We happened to be there during the Red Bull cliff diving championships and the hotel hosted a party on the rooftop with incredible food prepared by the hotel chef. There is no restaurant, but the breakfast is great and they made some small bites for us the second night when we had drinks on the rooftop before dinner. What really made the stay special though, was the staff. Everyone was so nice and went out of their way to help with whatever we needed. I highly recommend this property and hope to be back again one day!
We also had two very good seafood meals in town - Morus and Osteria di Chichibio. Highly recommend both places.

Our verdict on San Michele Suite is straightforward: the hotel and service were perfect. Our suite was big, clean, and comfortable. The staff was amiable and helpful but not too intrusive; there was absolutely enough privacy. They help you in every way, including where to park your car and the best shortcut to the parking lot, which is 7-8 minutes by a nice walk. The excellent addition was free dinner in a nearby restaurant and, of course, drinks and snacks in the rooftop bar every night. If I can make one suggestion, please put some reading lamps in the suite near the sofa and bed.

Our stay at San Michele Suite was 5-star by any measure! Upon arrival, we immediately felt welcome and genuinely embraced by the staff. We stayed in a beautiful suite with a balcony overlooking the most iconic beach in the area. Each and every member of the staff was incredibly gracious, helpful and attentive to our every need. The price of the room included breakfast, which was absolutely amazing! I can't say enough about our experience here! Simply perfect!

An excellent stay- the place was spotless and the hospitality was wonderful- Marika made us feel very special. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful room with a view of the water and the location in town was perfect. Marika arranged a happy hour with delicious drinks and snacks on the roof top- she was great at arranging and activities we did

The staff here is lovely. So warm, they remembered our names, good energy.
Unbeknownst to us we arrived on a national holiday, so the narrow streets of the town were virtually impassible and our plans for exploring became less appealing.
However, we had to get out of our room. The staff was extremely flexible in letting my daughter and me stay at the rooftop terrace two more hours so we could enjoy the location.
Btw, the sunset “drinks” were enough for us to make dinner out of by the way? Very generous.

Refinement of the hotel design and decoration, grandiose view, quality of welcome, breakfast... everything is exceptionally beautiful and refined in this hotel. The staff are friendly and extremely professional (we were able to communicate beforehand via WhatsApp and during our stay). We were greeted at the parking lot by the hotel staff who provide luggage transport. The welcome drink on the roof top was a rare moment both for the quality of service and for the breathtaking view. Everything was perfect ! An exceptional place in an idyllic setting. There were 7 of us and we were all enthusiastic about our stay. Choose rooms with a sea view instead because the view is breathtaking

Hello- On-Site directly, no, there is not. The access to the San Michele Suite is through the old city Arch into the main piazza. There is a roundabout meeting place just 500 meters away where you meet the owners or staff, along with a Rickshaw which then takes you and your luggage to the hotel. Very easy and nice. Your car is taken to secure parking area, and you simply need to let them know 15-20 minutes before you need the car, and you pick it up in the same spot. All worked great. 20 Euro a day is the cost. Dan
I don’t think so — the hotel is along the cliff and like all of those buildings, it is quite old (though beautifully renovated inside). There are wonderful views of the sea from the suites and a stunning rooftop lounge where breakfast is served.
Dear Mad101, The SAN MICHELE SUITE has 6 Suites (3 sea view, 2 village view and 1 sea view independent with private terrace – far 80 metres for the main buiding), in the historical centre of Polignano a mare.
