We stayed in Polignano in September for 3 nights at Il Palozzotto which is excellently situated close to the old town and the sea front. The greeting was warm and helpful, the rooms were simple and spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated with spacious bathroom, toiletries and hairdryer. Wifi available with no problem. The breakfast area was pleasant within a large...

Booked here as reviews generally good. Disappointed. Great location and generally quite sweet building However bed linen pillows etc quite musty and damp smell and brown towels are a bit unsavoury in this day and age . Breakfast not great at all You'd expect a bit more for 100 euros per night.

We stayed here for 2 nights in August. The positives first: excellent location within walking distance of the hotspots, spacious, clean rooms which are in the classic Puglian style, and the amazing rooftop. The not-so-positives: cost- for 120 euros a night the service did not at all match. Firstly, the breakfasts were extremely poor standard; for example, they did not...

Just came back from Polignamo, where we stayed at the Il Palazzotto for 3 nights. I absolutely loved the place. The room we had (on the 2nd Floor) was beautiful and spacious and had an easy access to the terrace on the top floor where we enjoyed an evening, overlooking the beautiful Puglian sky. The B&B decoration is simple and...

Rather than staying in the overpriced Grotte Palazzese which is only a few meters away, this B&B is the much better choice. Lovely, spacious and well equipped rooms and public areas. Staff was very friendly.

We spent two nights at the B&B prior to a cruise, and it was wonderful. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace. We would definitely recommend and stay there again.

We stayed here for four nights. We had a lovely room with a balcony. The b and b is spotless and the level of service excellent. Breakfast is served in a very attractive breakfast room. The location is perfect. Near to the beach and the old town. As it was very hot a hotel with a swimming pool would have...

Charming B&B with a lot of character in a quiet location just a few minutes walk from the centre of the old town. Exceptionally friendly and helpful welcome. The room was furnished beautifully with attention to detail, and door/windows that open onto a small iron balcony looking over the small narrow streets (some with sea views from a distance) which...

The location was perfect. It was in the old center but off to the side so parking was easy and the area quiet. A small charming B&B. The 3 rooftop balconies with a sea view were the best part. With only 3 rooms to let it is almost like a private terrace and has lounges and dining tables. We brought...

We stayed a week in Il Palazzotto in September to attend a friend's wedding. Our room was charming and very spacious with excellent decor and furnishings, as was the dining room and lounge. The location was perfect, just a 5min stroll from the main square in the old town, and within walking distance of numerous bars/restaurants. The breakfast was fine,...

“The room we stayed in was one of the smaller doubles with limited storage space. We stayed one night so no problem at all, however for more than 2-3 nights it might be better to opt for the larger double.”

“I believe the top floor room is the only one with a sea view. It is adjacent to the roof balconies so it almost becomes a private balcony. The elevator doesn't reach it but there is only one set of stairs to climb. There was a slight sulfur smell in the bathroom. I don't know if the other bathrooms have the same issue. The room had the exposed stone ceiling, and was tastefully decorated with some antiques and in muted tones. Personally I would prefer less color in the room and would have liked the duvet, cushions, curtains, etc to be white. Also less decorations and more minimal, but that's a personal choice.”
