Very comfortable and wonderful rooms true to the period when the villa was built. Great Service buy the owners Sabina and Giancarlo! The dinners were superb and Sabina has a nice selection of wines from the area. Nice breakfast and Espresso and Capucinos are always available. Great location in Tuscany. I was there as part of a photographic workshop hosted...

I thought the outside of the villa was very authentic, and our room was okay. Bit surprised about the radiatior being in the shower, but it was summer so...... Disappointed with the swimming pool and the surrounding areas, it looked a bit uncared for. Apart from the tables and chairs area where we ate, there was no other outside space...

We had not visited the Villa Rosa in 3 years and were so happy to be back. This time we arrived with friends and they so enjoyed the Villa. It's a wonderful location for visiting local wineries around Chianti. We reserved the large rooms with terraces at the front of the building. They are great , comfortable, quiet and quite large....

As we were touring Italy we needed something in the area and based on he excellent reviews we booked in for three nights as a base for exploring the area. The four of us felt the same about this place so this review is not based on just my own personal view. The truly Tuscan property looked a delight but...

We are sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay with us, if you had informed us of your discontent we would have done our best to resolve any problems. Instead you have chosen to lodge your complaints on line. So, the swimming pool is cleaned every night by machine and manually. The bugs and flies still don't understand that they...

My wife and I stayed here with my father in law for 4nights while visiting relatives in Tuscany and would highly recommend it. It is a beautiful old house and was delightful to stay in. The owner was very friendly and helpful and we had a great few days. We had a wonderful few days and would definitely stay again.

We stayed for 3 nights while driving through Italy on our honeymoon. Sabina upgraded our room and put a bottle of prosecco in our fridge. Sabina and Giancarlo are gracious hosts and very friendly. Their residence is gorgeous, filled with Tuscan character and is immaculately maintained. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the AC was cold and the shower was...

We got the terrace room and I highly recommend. Had our breakfast outside every morning and it was just lovely. Room was spacious and quaint. Pool was cute and offered beautiful views. Nice central location in Chianti; walking distance to next door winery. We really enjoyed our time here. Had dinner one night and it was delicious. Breakfast was fine....

We stayed here as part of a 3 week driving holiday where we have been booking accommodation as we go along. Villa Rosa is undoubtedly beautiful and impressive and paying the extra 20 Euros per night for our own terrace was money well spent. The pool and gardens are lovely. Compared to other places we have stayed at similar prices...

Stayed here on a lark in 1999. Loved the hotel, especially the food. Rooms are spare but adequate. Pool is small but adequate. It's really the location, feel and friendliness, plus great food that I rave about. Great for hiking about Chianti. Easy to get to. It happens to be just about a half mile from the bus stop for...
