Beautiful apartments with the most helpful staff. Shout out to Anastasia who made sure we had the best time. The apartments are perfect, modern and spotlessly clean with everything you could need. So much attention to detail has been paid. We booked a top floor room with a huge terrace furnished with table and chairs as well as cushioned sun loungers and parasol. The on site shop is well stocked and not over priced and fresh (still warm if you got the timing right) croissants available every morning. Lovely pool area which was never too busy and a pool bar for those afternoon cocktails and a small bar menu too. Cannot find fault with anything. We will definitely be back 🧡

Room Tip: Book a top floor room. It’s worth the extra cost.

Property's Favourite Review
Stayed in room (004) with private pool. I would prefer more european colors of bed and walls but it felt kind of more authentic and we didn’t have things that we really didn’t like. Pool could be more deep but it was wider than we expected so we enjoyed cause it was also very beautiful and had nice lights that you see at night making pool shining. Big shower, big bathroom , very comfortable bed and top condition of kitchen tools. Receptionists are friendly and always ready to help. I suggest to ask for fresh bread delivery every morning which is really nice and cheap. To go eat (or just to the sea) to PLAYA AMADORES is not far away but if you not in mood to walk - taxi’s are cheap. Rooms been cleaned 5/7 days in very good quality. We would like to come back one day.

Excellent hotel. Clean, peaceful. Everything worked perfectly. Nice peaceful pool area. Excellent views as the hotel is up in the hill. Very friendly staff, young lady at the reception was absolutely fantastic. Minimarket next to reception was really handy. We’ll certainly visit this hotel again.

WOW, WOW & then WOW again. We have been coming here for 12 years. Ana leads a great team of Eleanor, Anastasia & Benjamin. The place is called 'SERENITY' for a good reason. It is everything you would expect from a peaceful retreat. Fantastic apartments with Ocean views, peace and tranquility. Amazingly clean and well run. An oasis of calm.

We stayed in one of the Villas. (006) Staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. The villa has a living area with large tv, dining table and small kitchen with all basic equipment needed (no dishwasher). Bedroom is a decent size with a super king size bed and it’s own patio doors . The bathroom is also a very decent size and well equipped but no bath, only a shower. It was all very clean and daily housekeeping service provided except Thursdays and Sundays. The private outdoor area to the villa was so lovely. It can be over looked by other guests but only if they stand on the balcony above the villa which people would do take in the stunning views of Amadores beach. Hotel was quiet when we stayed so wasn’t a problem for us. There was a lovely infinity pool as part of our villa which was in our own private garden which was lovely and overlooked Amadores Beach and a dining table and chairs also outside as well as 2 sun loungers, Although heated at times it was cold and we had to ask for temp to be turned up on it. The interior of the villa although very clean is a little dated and tired but all in great condition. The only real issue for us was the smell of drains in the bathroom which if the bathroom door wasn’t kept closed you could also smell in the living area / kitchen. There was no washing machine in the villa but they were available on floor 3 of hotel at an additional cost. Also no iron or ironing board but you can request these from reception. Your also provided with bathroom towels and pool towels. There is a small but well stocked little shop which has fresh bread available daily but would advise to buy before 10am as it sells out quickly . A comfortable and relaxing stay.

Room Tip: Free parking available. It is high up and unless you have a car is quite a steep walk up from beach.

An honest review Looked at the photos of serenity Amadores hotel before booking and it looked ideal. The views, the rooms, the pool all looked fantastic. Seeing them in real life did not disappoint. We had a standard room 108 and it was fine for us. Fully equipped kitchen, with 3 methods of coffee making (kettle, coffee machine and Nespresso too!) Big fridge freezer, electric cooker and hob. The cleanliness of the room was outstanding, not a smear or speck of dust anywhere. The Aircon was only in the main living area so to get cool air to the bedroom you had to keep the door open and both ceiling fans going, but that was ok. The tele had only BBC world news as I could find that was English, but that was fine as you got WiFi included so we watched our own stuff on the tablet we had taken with us. Some days the hot water came out slightly brown, but I think that's the an island thing and it didn't bother us too much because we only showered in it. The huge balcony was furnished with two sun loungers, table, chairs and parasol! The clear and immaculately cleaned glass on the balcony allowed you to see the fantastic view of the garden and Amadores and the sea. That was magical! The hotel is situated on the left side of the cove if you are facing the island from the sea. For us in October this meant that the sun was there all day! Unlike the hotels on the other side which were in shade until late in the afternoon. The position of it though is right on the top of the hillside, nearly the highest of all. If you don't have a car, you'll be doing some tough walking, like we were. It's about 4500 steps (on Fitbit) to get to the beach and on the way back up, comes in around the equivalent of 50 flights of stairs. This made the beer and wine all the more lovely as we had earned it. Lots of taxis at the beach though if you don't want the exercise!! There is a little shop in the hotel with the nearest supermarket, the Spar, near the bottom of the hill. However there is enough in Serenity's shop to snack with and what you can't get from the this shop, there's a bigger one at the next hotel down, so not too far if you are carrying everything on foot!! When we got there, most of the occupants were couples so it was lovely and quiet. There was plenty of space to set up around the pools, which like the rooms were immaculately clean too... The weather was great which ultimately was the cherry on the cake for what was a fantastic stay at Serenity Amadores.... Would not hesitate to stay again, although I might look at car hire next time!!

Stayed here for 10 days with my sister. The hotel is in a beautiful location although if your walking it's a struggle in the heat to get back up the hill, taxis are cheap and highly recommended to get back after a lovely stroll down to the beach. The pool area is lovely and wasn't overly busy throughout our stay. The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly. The rooms are lovely and spacious with massive balconies but the only aircon is in the lounge and didn't seem to be that great. The cooking facilities are sparce only a hob and microwave ( needs a cooker ) it does have a massive fridge freezer though. The hot water unfortunately throughout our stay was dirty and rather off-putting. We had an amazing week here but wouldn't return as we like to relax and cook in and eat on the balcony.

Here for 1 week in a Coral Blue villa, lovely and peaceful with amazing views. Know the island well so get a taxi in the evening to eat out but walk down to Amadores early morning. Room has everything you need and more; cleaned daily. Would definitely return.

We are from Canada and decided to come to Gran Canaria to celebrate my birthday. We could not have chosen a better place to stay than the Serenity Amadores. Staff is incredible, hotel is spotless, the little store has a little produce section and the views are amazing! We rented a motorcycle on my actual birthday and drove to the highest point on the island which was ridiculously beautiful! We travel constantly and would never stay in the same place twice but we will make an exception when we come back to GC. Thanks for the birthday bubbly! Grateful we chose to stay with you!

Stayed here with my daughter from 22-26th June. This is a small, beautifully cared for complex situated on the hill above Amadores beach. On arrival at approx 9pm we were met by Anna who gave us the keys to our room, explained the place to us and ordered us a taxi as we wanted to head straight to Puerto Rico for food. After a very relaxing nights sleep we went down to the small shop at reception to buy some food for breakfast. This shop is very small but stocks most things you’ll need and at very reasonable prices. Pool opens at 9am and they have a strict policy of not reserving seats, which really worked well. It was never very crowded anyway but we never had a problem - even after lunch. The pool area, like all the complex is spotless and it’s very pleasant to spend time there. There is a small gym area overlooking the pool. Didn’t use it so can’t comment on the equipment. Our apartment was gorgeous, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Very large balcony with sun loungers, table and chairs overlooking the bay. I injured my foot while I was there so we taxied everywhere - taxis were cheap at around €5 each way to Puerto Rico and back. Staff at the complex were so lovely. Elena and Anastasia could not have been more pleasant and indeed Elena was extremely helpful to me when I hurt my foot. Reception is attended from 8am until 9pm. There is no one there overnight. All in all this is a very quiet complex. Do not go here unless you want to totally chill out. We loved it and look forward to returning in the future. It is indeed a hidden gem.
