Another great week here. Second time this year. I can’t understand some folk saying the cleanliness is a problem. Cleaners do a fantastic job throughout the premises!! This time our room was not the best…. At the end of the corridor right next door to the building works.Think we were spoiled in February with a pool view. Having said the the noise didn’t bother us at all. The bar staff and the boys at the pool do a fantastic job and the snack food is really good. Moving on to eating out…. TIPSY BEE is a must. EVERTHING about it is fabulous!!! We also took a taxi through to Mogán €18 each way wow what a beautiful wee place. So many places to choose for eating. Well worth the visit. On the whole, another fantastic holiday and huge shout out to ALL staff at Cala dor!! Until next year Thank You and keep up the good work 👍…

We have 2 days to go and loving it.we are staying in rooms just beside reception which are small but very modern but with no balcony but I can live with that as I made the mistake booking room only . Staff are very friendly from cleaners,reception, pool area.there is a small 24 hour shop at reception and not expensive. Yes I would recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back.i counted 164 steps down to centre and its only 5 euro back in taxi. Now this is just me it does not matter were I stay home or abroad I never leave valuables in room,its not a trust issue its just me. Free WiFi Safe Aircon and big samsung tv. As I said we will be back again very soon. Me personally I just think some people are just snow flakes looking for the smallest of things to give out about.

Stayed here from 5 May for 7 nights (turned out to be 6 nights!) and we had euros stolen from the apartment when we went out for 3 hours. We reported the theft to the reception worker who was horrendous to us. Told us that nobody else has access to the apartment so we must have lost the money or be lying. When we asked how the cleaners got in to clean when we were not there he had no answer and kept saying it was the cleaners 'day off'. When I said that he was responsible for keeping the master card/keys safe behind the reception and it was his responsibility that the euros had been stolen, he raised his fist to me (which he admitted to Jet2 staff) . This will have been captured on the reception camera and I reported it to the Spanish police but have never had a reply. Jet2 were very good, came out to see us and moved us hotel for the last night. Absolutely appalling treatment of guests. To threaten a woman like that is unbelievable. All other staff were lovely but this man needs removing from there. …

Lovely hotel in a central position with the added bonus of 191 steps to get to beach/Road. This review is mainly positive but there are also some big negatives. Positives are nice large clean rooms. The shower is fantastic and there is kettle and toaster provided which is handy. Comfy bed but if you do not like a dark bedroom be aware that there is only very small window that only partially opens for fresh air. The hotel in general is attractive, modern and friendly. The negatives are this hotel is very noisy. We were aware of the building work going on next door but this disruption was minimal compared to the noise levels in the pool area. I appreciate that children make noise and should have fun but this seemed to be at the discomfort of the other guests. Screeming, shouting running around and splashing while their adults were either sunbathing or drinking is not acceptable and the hotel staff seemed reluctant to say anything. This along with the constant loud music from 10am to 6 or 7 pm does not make for a peaceful holiday, the music is relentless, one particular afternoon last week Phil Collins was on loop for hours it was torture!! You could escape slightly by using the adult only solarium but the level of noise was so high it did not make much difference. The other real negative to this hotel was the poor WiFi service. It would not work in the room and was very intermittent by the pool. This is not an awful hotel but with a few tweeks it could be fantastic. …

very friendly staff made to feel very welcome we have stayed here before and we will be going back. rooms very clean and the cleaners are very helpful . bar staff very friendly and the pool lads are great making sure that everyone is happy and keeping the children entertained

Just returned from a 11 nights stay we were worried after reading the reviews but we were so pleased . Stayed on the 4th floor lovely views over the pool down to the sea . Spotless apartment with everything you need for a self catering stay . We had the apartment cleaned every other day to an extremely high standard . Ok yes there is music and entertainment by the pool but if you go up to the stairs to the decking area it’s quieter . If you have mobility issues this is not the place 180 steps to center but taxis are reasonable . Staff were excellent nothing was to much trouble keep doing what you are doing will be back thank you for making it a special holiday 🙏🙏🙏

Well just come back from a weeks stay here and I want be returning again, if you want a quite relaxing holiday then this isn’t the place to stay. There are building works going on in the hotel next door from 8 in the morning till they finish. You have got the music on from 10 in the morning ( very loud around the pool) I think they are trying to drown out the noise from the workmen but it’s just making it worse. We didn’t have the beds changed once in the whole time we stayed here. Clean towels once and that’s because I asked for them. We also had cockroaches in our room and that was on the 3rd floor. You need to bring your ear plugs as you can also here the noise from the pubs across the road. So you can’t sit in your balcony . Apart from that the staff are really nice and the hotel is clean. And it’s centre to everything. But if you want a relaxing holiday this is not your hotel. …

We absolutely loved this place. Was way better than we expected. Room was very well equipped, and very clean when we arrived. Room cleaning seemed to be every 2-3days also. The pool are was always immaculate and very nice. Bar area always very clean and the staff at the hotel and bar were absolutely brilliant, they couldn't do enough to help you. Entertainment was around the pool each day which you wouldn't expect from a self catering venue, and there was evening entertainment also. Unfortunately the guests were not up for the evening entertainment the 3 nights we stayed for it. (Karaoke, magic and some other act). James was very good for the day time entertainment with the kids, although we had no kids with us, we saw how good he was with kids that were there.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay , warm friendly welcome , superb staff ,super clean throughout . Loverly apartment with a great view , everything you need in it for your stay . Close to all amenities and beach . Will definitely be going again very soon . 😀
