Can’t wait to return, the hotel was spotless and the staff are very friendly, the apartment, bathroom and bedroom was very spacious. The balcony had two sun-beds and a table and chair with an umbrella, a cleaner came in each day to sweep, mop change towels make the beds and clean the sides down. The kitchen had everything you would need if you was half board or self catering with a big fridge and freezer. A small shop I’d by the entrance of the hotel and reasonable prices. We had a few stairs to climb for our apartment but most are easy to access, the pool was very big, the deepest part is under the bridge and although it was heated we had a few cool days where we felt it was to cold to sunbathe. We found the adult only pool to be in another area where you needed a card to get in and out of a gate. But the hotel has plenty of sun-beds and space for lots to people. We stayed all inclusive for the first time and it was fantastic, they had a good range of food a buffet style serving, and themed nights for the evening meal, they also offered snacks throughout the day and plenty of drinks to pick from. Breakfast had a section of English bacon and sausage (full English breakfast) and then the continental section, cakes waffles and pancakes and fresh fruit available all day. The one night I was disappointed with was the British food they had a lot of fish dishes that night, gammon, chicken or beef stew, with it being Sunday we was expecting more of a carvery on offer. But the food was still very nice, And labels are above each dish. We found the cocktails from the bar to be better then the machine ones and for other cocktails off the menu you can get a discount so they only cost 2.50€ for all inclusive adults . They also offer a new band to anyone that’s broken their or feels it’s the wrong size . the seating is separated between the area where the food is and another undercover area I’ve the bridge where they have entertainment each night, the rock show was our favourite and Disney comedy show was the lest favourite out of what we saw at the hotel, during the day they had sports on tv and did a few games of bingo in the afternoon and some evenings, we won 115€ one afternoon so good prices for 5€ on tickets. The pens and mats are available to use. Overall the hotel has a family friendly feel to it, all the staff are kind and friendly and their was a good mix of British, Scottish and Scandinavian people their during our stay. A very relaxed atmosphere here and a good vale for money. Location wise We was on a hill top but it’s not from a small shopping centre with bars, restaurants and shops, to access the bottom of hill it has a lot of steps to walk down but they are easy to walk on if you go ata a steady pace,…
Arrived last night. The apartments lived up to our expectations. We have a one bedroom self catering apartment. It's spacious and clean. The cleaner has been in today even though it wasn't required. The terrace overlooks the pool and has the sun all day so we stayed put. Couple of minutes walk to Europa Centre with lots of shops and bars. Yes it's basic but definitely worth 3 stars. But would recommend especially this time of year when it's quiet and snowing at home 😍
I was pleasantly surprised by the Eden. As a couple we have stayed in the Altamar many times (10+). It is smaller than the Altamar but the food and staff are on a par with each other, always something as a choice to eat ( breakfast in the Eden was really good today and all fresh. Maybe easier to cater for less people?) The staff in both are really friendly and happy! The Altamar has much better views but Eden has much fewer steps so if older or ‘not as road worthy’ then Eden wins out. The rooms are slightly better in Altamar but for 25 euro a day extra you can have a ‘swim up pool room’ in Eden. They look really good! I believe the entertainment is the same, Gazza excels in Altamar but Becky is just as friendly and what a singing voice! Gazza is always the entertainer but to be fair, Becky is easier on the eye. Altamar will be very Scandinavian orientated in winter months, then a more Spanish feel until about mid June then the Brits invade. I think Eden has more of a British feel ( but Scandinavians are here now, quite rightly) and it is very friendly. Eden is nearer to the Europa centre but both a short walk only. Really impressed by both!…
THE most unhelpful staff. booked through booking.com and despite NEVER having this issue before my staff member was told his paid in advance booking was not valid as it was on my account however they were happy for him to stay if we paid AGAIN despite seeing we had already paid
Lost its appeal won’t be returning bar staff lovely and the rooms are good and swimming pool alright. Pool area by loungers are not clean like they used to be floor sticky and rubbish from day before left there
Initially, when we arrived we thought great. Cleanliness is superb, staff are friendly, the food is very good and the pool is heated. But, this place probably has the worst acoustic insulation...ever. I know the tiles don't help, but the bloody noise from the different rooms is unbelievable. Toilets flushing, showers running etc. As I write one of the Scandinavian groups is having a full-blown party 2 doors down and the noise is appalling. Quiet this place is not !! Also, if you go for a swim-up room make sure you don't get put into anything between 51 - 58 you'll be staring at a concrete wall and be kept awake by the traffic on the main road. It's a shame because it all could be so much better.
Around the pool is disgusting Sun loungers disgusting. Room not cleaned properly. I'm here now and find it's only cleaned in reception. It's cheap for a reason Staff about 4 very nice. Rooms are adequate but not cleaned properly.
One week stay at Eden apartments, cannot fault our holiday at all, the food was really good we were all Inclusive and enjoyed every meal, excellent staff very helpful at all times. We booked a one bedroom swim up apartment via Tui on a late deal good value, we ventured out during the day but happy to spend our evenings watching the entertainment at Eden, met some lovely people during our stay and would be more than happy to return.
We as a family have been coming to Eden for many years now. Built up friendships with staff. We have no concerns with Eden whatsoever but what worries us is that at this minute in time you can only book Eden through TUI. Every other website states that Eden is not available on dates throughout the year. We even emailed Eden and they stated that we had to book through TUI. We are more concerned now that a lot of people who use budget Airlines for cheaper flights will miss out on Eden as it will be priced out of there budget.
Did not expect the food to be as good thought it would be like alot of other all inclusive holidays but it was amazing nothing was too much trouble for them we will be back thankyou to all the staff for making our stay enjoyable and relaxing
