p.s. the apartments are excellent value for money and I have no hesitation in recommending them. One could walk further down the road to avoid the steps if needed however there will always be some to use as Puerto Rico is set in a steep sided valley leading to the coast. There are many apartments lower down and you will pay dearly for that location.
