Super clean hotel throughout. Hotel staff were very attentive and helpful, from reception to bar/ restaurant to room attendants. Infinity pool was incredible. Shame to be charged to use the safe (€4 a day) Room was lovely, we stayed on the top floor ( upgraded from the 1st floor and was definitely worth the upgrade) view from the balcony was one j would never get bored of. Would definitely go back to this hotel if we go back to Puerto Rico.

Situated on the marina away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of the resort leads to a very restful stay. Lovely infinity pool with unspoilt views out to sea. The rooms are spacious and modern very comfortable they do look and feel of a a superior standard. Sunny Weather was such a welcome relief to enjoy this time of year.

After a horrible couple of months recovering from Covid, and a long time since we’ve been abroad, we were really looking forward to our holiday and the Marina Suites didn’t disappoint. We had a first floor self catering suite which was spacious with a large outside area for a family of four. The pool was just lovely, beautifully set right next to the sea. We added on the breakfast buffet when we got there which was delicious - our children were delighted to eat donuts and pancakes every morning, although healthier options were available including freshly cooked omelettes. The hotel is a very short walk to the marina and beach, where multiple other eating options are available for dinner. A particular shout out to the staff who were great - in particular Jan on the front desk and Venus in the kids club who our girls said they are going to miss. The kids club also gave us the chance for a glass of cava in the adult area complete with hot tubs. Only couple of minor criticisms- you had to queue in the morning from around 8.15 to get a sun bed (although on some days you could still get one in the shade later in the morning). There were notes put on loungers to say their belongings would be removed if left over 45 minutes but I never saw any removed. We never struggled to find a lounger though so not a huge issue. And the lifeguard who sits looking on his phone all day - even our children noticed and said that he didn’t seem very interested in anyone’s safety. Think he may be in the wrong job! Overall we had such a great time and it was just what we needed. Now we are back in rainy England it all feels like a dream…

Dear 588julietb, We are so happy to read that you loved your stay with us. For us, is a pleasure to treat our guests as better as possible. We will informe our colleagues Jan and Venus of your wonderfull review, we are sure that that will make them so happy. We are really sorry with the sunbeds problem. Because of Covid, we had to take off some sunbeds so is very difficult to have many places for our guests, but we are trying our best to fix that. We hope that the next time, you and your family get the same fun as this time. Hopping seeing you again. Best regards, Ciara. Reception.

Came here with my girlfriends 5 years ago - had a great time. Came back now with my family and it’s a different story. It’s impossible to get a sun bed if you don’t put a towel down before 830 am. I spoke to reception and they assured me the life guard removes them after 45 minutes but it’s not the case. We will definitely not be back

Dear LexieBath, thank you very much for your comment. We are really sorry to read that you are not enjoying your current experience at Marina Suites. The rules while the pandemic is still there, oblige us not to be able to set more sunbeds at the pool area. Indeed, we understand your disgust when you find it full, since we do have some peaks during the week and during some hours. We will recheck with the lifeguard the rule of taking out the towels when they are not occupied after 45 minutes. We all hope you can still enjoy your stay with us, the hotel facilities and the service from our staff. Should you have any other comment, please do not hesitate to contact us directly if you are still at the hotel. Kindest regards, Rocío Sanz Asistente Dirección

This is a lovely hotel with clean modern rooms. The facilities aren't quite as spectacular as they seem online. Views from a lot of rooms are of the Marina which is nice but a bit of a car park! The pool area is lovely but there's no where near enough sunbeds or umbrellas. Sunbeds all reserved with towels by 9:30am and only an umbrella per 5/6 loungers. Travelling with an infant meant we couldn't spend the day by the pool so we're only able to take a quick swim morning and evening. The beds were fine but the pillows weren't very comfortable, and the decor was a little bit tired. The staff were very friendly. No real amenities in the hotel as the onsite restaurant is actually a separate business and the pool bar keeps short hours, which I assume is due to covid. All in all a nice hotel, well located but probably not quite worth the money.

Hello Erins! Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel. We are happy to hear that you liked our rooms. Because of Corona, we had to take off some sunbeds and umbrellas of the pool area to keep the safety distance between guests. We hope that the situation changes and improves soon. Normally, it's forbidden to reserve sunbeds, our lifeguard has to take towells off after an hour without using it. We are so sorry to hear that you didn't like your pillows, remember that next time you can ask for another kind of pillow. Please do not hesitate to come back to Marina Suites if you ever would like to give us a second chance. Kind regards, Ciara, Reception.
