After we lowered our expectations reading previous reviews, on arrival we were really pleasantly surprised. We had an 11 night stay. Apartment in need of updating but was spotlessly clean, towels changed almost daily. Staff friendly and really helpful. Shared areas and Pool cleaned daily every morning. Excellent value for money, have paid more and had much lower quality accommodation.

AWFUL place. Do not stay here. Infested with cockroaches and ants. Coming up from the shower drain also. It was so bad we had to check out early and book into another hotel who luckily could accommodate us. We had room 21. Cockroaches were running riot under the beds etc. I had severe anxiety from being there and got numerous bites. Cracked tiles throughout the complex. Pool also had no lifeguard and did not get cleaned. There was a mosquito laying dead in the pool for 2 days until my partner removed it himself. The only way of describing the experience is comparing it to the netflix series of the Cecil hotel. Our holiday only started after we got out of there. AVOID at all costs.

Last minute budget break, lots of steps around the property so not for people with mobility problems. Our apartment was probably in the worst location right at the bottom of the complex with no views at all and no sun on the balcony. Many other apartments had huge balcony’s and got the sun from first thing in the morning. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped with microwave and coffee maker. Unfortunately our apartment got a lot of visiting bugs due to the gap under the door. 10 miniute walk up to the Europa centre, up hill mind you. Cheap menu of a day time and happy hour in the afternoon, buy one get one free. I would only return in the future if I could get a high or mid level room to guarantee the sun

Stayed for 10 nights. Yes the rooms need some tlc. But they are clean, balcony is amazing. The sun is on the pool and balcony all day long. Did both walks to Amadores beach and puerto rico beach, managed both down but had to get taxi back. Maid service is spot on, clean towels bedding and cleaning regularly. Always plenty of sun loungers by the pool, plus a chill out terrace too. Happy hour drinks 1-3pm daily. Food is nice. Will definitely be back next year. Can't wait

Apartments are a bit tired, lots of cracked tiles but bedding clean. The onsite bar closes at 4pm so food is limited, the nearest restaurants a good 10-15 minute walk, they were very pushy too. The staff here were Absolutely brilliant.

Paid 20 euro at reception for wifi and was not able to log onto it at any time during stay. No refund was offered. No other guests I spoke to could access wifi either. Apartment was dirty and made me feel uncomfortable. Would NOT stay here again if you paid me and would have given 0 stars if I could.

Paying for a holiday in August is never cheap, but upon arriving at the apartments at midnight on a sat night, and opening up the apartment, initial feeling was unfortunately disappointment. The apartment photos online are very much made to look nicer than actual (ok, should be expected you say), but even for a two star, believe me, my expectations were certainly not high. The apartments need some serious work, we also had a strange smell in ours which didn’t really disappear all week. Saying that, sheets and towels were clean, there were no cockroaches or insect issues apart from a few ants. We only had one roach incident. Be warned; there is no air conditioning, in any room of the apartments, and in August is very uncomfortable to sleep in. You have to pay for everything as an extra (apart from a bar of soap supplied). And I mean everything! Wi-Fi, beach towels, fans, use of safe, game of pool etc… The so called short cut walk to the beach, is a death walk, and was closed when we were there (either through someone being injured or I’m sure for some other dark, undisclosed reason). So, the only other route is by path on road. Very steep roads, unsafe, especially me being a single female adult with a ten yr old daughter. Be warned, prepare for taxis to and from beach/s and towns. Shops near by are great, restaurants are not (10 mins walk from apartments). All the same menus/food in at least eight restaurants clustered together must be owned by the same person/people, fine for one night. Two/three, food is boring and very English. Very pushy at trying to get you in to eat as well and it’s very irritating. I have never left a review before for any place I’ve stayed at, but I feel passionate about this as booked as a package holiday, with my young daughter on my own, spent a tremendous amount of money, and do feel let down somewhat. Perhaps some more guidance and feedback from someone in my position on these sites might help someone else. Saying that, positives were that the lady in the little restaurant/bar on site, was so lovely and helpful. She made sure that anything we had when staying on site in the day, was served to us with nothing being too much trouble for her (wish I’d got her name now). The shop on site, although a little pricey as you’d expect, was well stocked and certainly came in handy a few times. Bear in mind though, these both shut at 4pm latest, 5pm at a weekend if you’re lucky. After that, you’re on your own! My daughter had a wonderful time in and out of the pool. I wouldn’t visit again, knowing what I know. As a young couple or young friends going to have fun and late nights it’s a great place to stay. With kids and young ones perhaps not so much. I hate sounding negative, but I felt strongly enough with Roslara to give you my honest feedback and thoughts… I hope it helps someone or at least perhaps the hotel information on package holiday sites becomes a little bit more realistic than make believe…

Although the hotel its self is a bit tired looking and in need of an up date, it is very clean and the staff are very polite and helpfull .The hotel its self does have a lift but also pleanty of stairs so wouldnt advise buggys or wheel chairs, there is a gate at the bottom of the hotel which provides a short cut to the beach alone a dirt track , the walk to the bars at a meduim pace up hill takes around ten mins but has great views of puerto rico below ,I would return again but not in my old age while im fit enough for the stairs

2 adults 2 kids 7 and 5 we went for a weeks winter sun. The apartments are spotless the cleaners work constantly. Yes there are stairs but anyone going to this part of the island know its built into the mountains. A good 20 mins walk to the amadores beach down the shortcut which is a bit tricky but would take 45 mins walking down the windy road get a taxi back up no more than 3 euro. Anna and mira work the bar shop and reception nothin a problem. The bar and shop shut at 5 but not sure if that's just in winter and the wuropa Centre is 10min walk up the hill plenty places to eat. Overall of a cheap week in the sun great holiday x
