My husband booked to stay at this beautiful cottage over the weekend. What a amazing cottage, like a chocolate box picture. Heather the lady the owns the cottage is so welcoming, warm and friendly. She takes great pride in her cottage and gardens . She realised it was birthday and she gave me a card and made me a lavender...

Beautiful cottage....and for the 2 nights we stayed we were always greeted with a warm welcome from their lovely dog. The hosts were fantastic, like staying with relatives. Was amazing to be woken up to the smell of a home cooked breakfast. Room was super comfortable, huge bed, en suite, garden view, tv, wifi, kettle with various teas and coffee...

Fantastic (again)! My wife and I spent a week at Honeycomb Cottage in June (our second visit). We cannot thank Heather, Duncan and Zula enough for the welcome that we received. The cottage, gardens and rooms are beautifully presented (exceeded only by the delightful, quite wonderful, character of the hosts)... and the breakfasts are award winners! We cannot imagine a...

Stayed Friday and Saturday night, and can't fault it in anyway. The hosts Heather and Duncan are super friendly and make you feel very welcome from the minute you get there. We got there very late due to bad accidents on roads, and arrived at 10:45 to be greeted by Heather who was full of smiles and just wanted to...

This 500 year old B&B is an antique melding of three cottages. Ceilings are very low and even, I, at 5'7" had to bend my head to get into the bathroom. Bathroom was very small with 2' x 2' shower stall -- I am not kidding! We assumed our room would be en-suite by the description on booking.com, but that...

We've stayed here twice now. We were visiting Monkey World and this B&B is quite close to it. The room is spacious and the thatched cottage has a beautiful surrounding, including a secret garden. On a nice day it's lovely just sitting outside with a bottle of Vino. The breakfast was lovely, with a wide choice and although the cottage...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
As dreamy as its name, this is a 16th-century cottage in the village, with deep walls, open fireplaces and flagged floors. The cottage has a garden that blooms as wonderfully as the cottage and, up under the eaves, soft curtains, soothing colours, aromatic oils and delicious beds. Have breakfast in the homely kitchen, or outside on fine days, where lawns and borders drift effortlessly into orchard, fields and hills. An all-year-round delight. ... more   less
