We stayed two nights. The staff are very friendly and the food was lovely. The room was very spacious, bright, airy and very clean. Full English breakfast was included which was very nice, not at all greasy. We will definitely be going back.

The food was okay , my husband had steak but was not impressed said it was tough . I had hunters chicken with salad , the salad very dry no dressings on it , the chicken was lovely and tasty . It's a shame we were all sat in a bar with a noisy skittle team , it's a pity...

We booked a table for Sunday lunch and the carvery was absolutely fantastic. The garden was lovely to sit in for a drink. The meal was one of the best we have had. Plenty of meat and loads of vegetables cooked to perfection,

Great value and great quality Sunday Carvery. Kids and dog friendly. Choice of two meats or mix of both - beef and ham on our visit and they were both delicious. Excellent choice of veg, very good portions. And good beer too.

We visited for lunch with a walking group. The menu catered for all tastes, with a wide variety of healthy and gluten free options. This is definitely my kind of place and I can highly recommend it. The staff were most friendly and obliging.

Shame I can't really give a proper review but can say the lady behind the bar was very helpful in finding alternative accommodation on Sat 18th March after she'd told us she had no record of our room booking. I have now submitted my bank statement as proof that they took the full amount to secure my booking. One note...

A very friendly and pleasant pub/hotel on the outskirts of Bere Regis with a great garden for kids. the majority of the menu is Gluten free and is very very tasty. The owner is coeliac so understands the complexities. well worth a visit.

Excellent carvery with two kinds of meat and a good variety of vegetables served by the Chef Shem. Very enjoyable and great value. Friendly reception and staff. Recommended. The theme nights are also great food.

Thank Sue A
