We were given exactly what we asked for, a nice quiet room. The cleanliness was good and the ceremony went off without a hitch. I asked for extra bedding and nothing was too much trouble. I wasn't sure if the waiting staff belonged to the hotel for the evening but one waitress seemed to think that they had run out...

Booked whilst attending a Clay Pigeon Kart event and was very pleased with the service, space , decor, food and general setting of the whole experience? The wines list and choices of food were first class . Everyone on the staff were smiling even at breakfast. Just so helpful and the teenagers were also catered for and not made to...

Stayed here for two nights on our way back from Cornwall. Was very disappointed in the standard of the room. Thought it was very basic for the price we paid. The rooms do not have refrigerators although when I asked one was sent to the room. However disappointments were made up for by the great and obliging staff. We had...

My husband and I were looking for somewhere to stay for a couple of nights with easy access to the Jurassic coast and we found it with the George Albert Hotel. Probably not ideal if you have small children (as a bit too isolated) but for adults looking for a clean modern hotel with a hearty breakfast to start the...

Pros: room was large, immaculately clean, modern and in excellent condition. Neutrals: hotel is well presented but lacking character - a solid business choice Cons: booked in at 5.45pm to be told no tables available at restaurant unless I wanted to eat at 6.30. Room service menu is just sandwiches and chips, and eating in the bar area was noisy...

Without a doubt one of the best hotels I've stayed at ever in terms of welcome, cleanliness, service and good food. Well done to the Manager and all the team - the waiting staff, in particular, for making our visit such a pleasure. 5 stars from me. Thank you!

Complete overkill on a mix up with regards to cancelling a booking. Received one phone call where they said they would come back to me after checking details. A week later I receive a claim form from the county courts!! Complete overkill and zero regard for customer relations. Be very aware

We stayed for one night mid week. The hotel is modern and fresh, situated on a hill by the busy A37 but with sweeping views from our first floor room. The way I would describe it is as slightly better than a Premier Inn which are always of consistent quality. The room was very spacious with a large and very...

Stayed at the hotel with my husband for 1 night on Sunday 23rd August 2015. The hotel is amazing - beautifully and tastefully decorated throughout to a very high standard, with lovely, sumptuous monogrammed carpets. Our room was situated at the front of the hotel on the first floor. It was large, decorated and furnished to a very high standard,...

Wow! What a great over night stay! Decor tasteful, room spotless, attention to detail. Really comfortable bed which ensured a good night's sleep. Also we noted that we heard no noise coming from neighbouring rooms. A la carte menu was great and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Definitely would stay there again and would highly recommend.
