We have just returned from an absolutely gorgeous two days break at Blakey Hall. The decor is outstanding, the farm is beautiful and most of all the people that run it are lovely. We were made to feel very welcome and at home, Rachel and Steve have done wonders with this place. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the surroundings...

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend stay at this B&B (bit of a misnomer, as it was way superior than some hotels we have stayed in!) From the outset, Stephen welcomed us very warmly as Rachel was out, but whirl-winded in about 15 minutes later and made us feel very much at home and as if we had...

Rachel and her family are wonderful hosts! The rooms are beautifully appointed and the farm is in a fab location for walking along the canal and exploring the surrounding area. We stayed for 4 nights and were made to feel so welcome. Rachel's food is also amazing, according to my American husband her "Full English" is the best he's had...

Just perfect. What a beautiful place. Rachel is such a warm person and makes you feel right at home. The breakfast was superb. We will be back and plan to stay in the self catering apartment so we can bring along our little dog.

We only stayed one night in this lovely B&B. It is in a great situation by a canal where you can stroll along the towpath. The rooms are well appointed, clean, and comfortable. Rachel and her husband make you feel very welcome. Wish we could have stayed longer at this superb farmhouse.
