Helmsley is a wonderful place to visit and the Feathers hotel is a first class hotel to stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially Tracy the manager , the assistant manager and the head receptionist . A good choice of rooms available which all seem well decorated and very clean. The choice and quality of food is of a high standard. We had one small niggle in room 8 and it was dealt with immediately . Highly recommend and cannot wait to return to this hotel. Thank you Tracy and your team for making this a memorable stay .

Myself and my partner booked a night away before I had to return to work away. Absolutely loved everything and was a perfect little get away . Room spotless with absolutely everything you could need , stayed for Sunday lunch and wasn’t disappointed, booked a table on the evening too but sadly had the same menu plus they had sold out of 70% of the menu , as we were still stuffed from the sunday lunch we decided on two starters so wasn’t too much of a problem. Breakfast brilliant and the staff were all great especially the northern Irish bar man . Great value and keep up the good work!!! Will be returning again

The staff couldn’t have been better from arriving to leaving, they were extremely helpful and friendly. The location is great, being right in the centre of town, there are lots of individual shops, cafes and bars to explore.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, any questions we had were answered. The room was great, clean, comfortable bed, the Tea/coffee was good quality with fresh milk given to us in a thermos. The bathroom was very clean and the facilities were super. Good quality shower, automatic light, plenty of toiletries. The food in the restaurant was top quality, we stopped for an evening meal and breakfast. You could tell they were quality ingredients. The thing that impressed me most was the staff.

Nice hotel which is part of an even nicer pub ! Had breakfast & dinner food all locally sourced absolute treat. On to the room we were placed in room 33 part of the annex out the back very nice, free standing bath , walk in shower nice big room, comfy bed. Unfortunately the bed was positioned next to the bedroom door which was along side the exterior door to the annex building which slammed shut every time someone entered or exited the building. This kept us awake from roughly 12.30am & awoke us from roughly 7am, also the sound insulation wasn’t up to much as we could hear the conversations from other rooms in the annex. A real shame as we returned home after a relaxing weekend away tired . Would return but would ask for a different room .
