Stopped here for lunch while driving around Yorkshire. The staff were 'brusque' but not rude, but I guess they get a lot of people wanting to come in just to use the loos without buying anything as it's a very popular walking area (there is a donation box for that service). We had the soup - definitely more a packet...

We drop in at the Station Inn for lunch whenever we are too lazy to cook and we invariably enjoy the welcome and the food as well as the remote location,^just below the Ribblehead viaduct. I photographed one of the menu boards, one of our dishes and the amusing weather forecaster this time. They give a good idea of the...

Once again returned to the Station Inn overlooking Ribblehead Viaduct.Food was excellent as always, have a vast choice all cooked freshly. I always have their Bangers and Mash as I rate it the best Ive had.3 different locally made Sausages and mash and fresh vegetables. Started with Calamari but they do Black Pudding and Bacon as well. Finished with a...

The view is, without question, breath-taking. You have an excellent view of the viaduct from the gents' urinal, and on my wife's information, the ladies' as well. Other good things about the pub include: no annoying background music, no tv in the lounge, just a nice peaceful environment. The food is really good value for money. I ate a Yorkshire...

Had good and a few beers here whilst doing the Dalesway. Beer was good and food tasty and plentiful. Friendly staff too. Yes the pub is a bit tired but we enjoyed what we had and were made welcome. If you want glitz and Wi-Fi youre probably off course. ;)

This pub is dirty the beer is warm and flat and the staff particularly the landlord are rude and unhelpful. i would rather go thirsty than attack my stomach with another drink from this hell hole. The toilets were a health hazard.

I have been to The Station Inn on a few different occasions, mainly for meals but one time with a group of friends staying at the bunkhouse. Each time, the welcome has been warm, the service great, the staff all really friendly and the food tasty and filling. The bunkhouse is basic but just as you would expect and everything...

A group of us descended on the Station Inn during the first sunny weekend of Spring recently. The weather was glorious and the views magnificent and the pub and its staff made us hugely welcome. The beer was excellent and the food hearty & tasty and the staff tolerated us playing guitars, banjos, mandolins and accordions til late in the...

Stopped here for coffee after a great walk round the valley and after asking for a Skinny Decaf Cappucino was given a typical Yorkshire reply about the pub NOT being a fancy cafe in a city centre. It was friendly and a great place to end a walk, but is a bit tired.
