Great country inn, super food and service. Lovely stable rooms and quiet night!Beautiful countryside and little villages. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in a inexpensive hotel, country B&B.

We stopped off for lunch, and whilst it was busy we found a table as there's ample seating. The menu had a lot of lovely fish dishes but we were just having a light bite. Salad was good and served quite quickly, but sadly there was little in the way of a drinks selection - odd considering its a pub!

We had an excellent Sunday roast at this nice old pub/ hotel. The food arrived quickly within 10 minutes of ordering. I took the opportunity to inspect the outbuildings and grounds and all seemed well kept, with the exception of the top garden which was untidy and neglected. We ordered coffee to finish but it was forgotten twice despite being...

Nice, clean room in a friendly pub with great cooked breakfast. Bathroom was a bit, run down but nice stay. In need of a bit of refurb but lovely staff and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Would definitely visit again of staying in the area.

This inn is very old with a lovely charm. Meals can be served indoors or outside. The meal was a typical pub lunch of fish and chips. Most enjoyable. Parking is available outside the pub, but is very busy over the weekend. Accommodation is available here too.

Visited yesterday with the family for a Sunday Roast. The beef was delicious and pink with fluffy Yorkshire puddings. Friendly staff. Great choice of wine and beer. Perfect location for lunch and a walk along the river.

I arrived at The Swan with a group of 26 walkers all wanting lunch, and others wanting tea, coffee etc. I had advised the pub that we would be coming, but this was a very large group to cope with at one time - especially as we wanted to be away asap. The staff were unflapable and welcoming, the service...

Stopped here as it was near to a customer we needed to visit the next day who was close by. A little tucked away to find in the dark but worth finding once your there. Parking is a little difficult as its seemed quiet popular, but not impossible. We had two rooms, one in the hotel and one in an...
