This B&B was a delight. It is immaculately maintained and has a peaceful air about it. The bedrooms are smart and tastefully decorated. Peter and Anne, the owners were away so Nigel and Barbara were excellent stand-ins. They were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Breakfast was perfect. Well cooked with a good range of options locally sourced. I have...

Lovely welcome by locum couple, very tasteful spacious rooms where everything worked, modern bathroom furnishing, sumptious breakfasts and even a piano in a room to sing along to. Quiet, overlooking rural snow-laden scene. Concern that the slopes on the drive and the 600metre walk into town my be too slippery but the sun melted a lot of it quickly.Only 100...

We have just returned from a 3 night break at this beautiful guest house & will definitely return on our next visit to Holmfirth. Our room had fabulous decor with nice extra touches such as lovely toiletries in the en suite, bottled water & biscuits along with a selection of teas & coffee. The owners are so welcoming & the...

We visited Holmfirth to attend a concert at the Picturedrome. This was our first visit to the area and we thoroughly enjoyed our short break away. The guesthouse is beautiful and incredibly well maintained. The gardens beautiful. The guestrooms are comfortable, clean and have a few additional touches to make your stay away from home perfect. From mints in...

After a couple of poor experiences of bed and breakfasts this year I was slightly anxious about this visit. I hoped I wasn't setting myself up for disappointment. However, now we have stayed I can say we were absolutely delighted with every aspect of Sunnybank. Even the weather was on our side! Many thanks!

Stayed for a couple of nights in the Patio Room which was beautiful. We were made to feel really welcome throughout and the breakfasts are divine. Try the mushroom omelette - it's divine. In fact all the breakfast options looked fabulous with good quality ingredients. Shame we only stayed 2 nights.

Very friendly hosts, wonderful breakfasts and stunning view across the valley. Not for those who struggle with climbs as walk back is up long steepish slope (we took it as good exercise). We found the Wi-Fi a bit hit and miss but this may have been our kindle.
