Excellent on all accounts! Staff friendly, food great, facilities beautiful and tasteful. View breathtaking. Staff have a good balance between making you feel welcome and keeping their professional distance.

ON Saturday 29th October I had my retirement bash at the castle hotel. The staff did everything possible to make the event floorless and provided a gazebo for the fireworks and were absolutely fabulous at attending to all of our requirements. The guests all mentioned they had a wonderful time and the dinner and wines were delicious. Thank you so...

Expensive dinner nothing special and most of it nearly cold. Breakfast poor with one cheap frozen? sausage, tasteless small piece of bacon, uncooked tomato, stewed tasteless coffee. Atmospheric building but atmosphere dead. Bath water in evening nearly cold, we both had lukewarm showers in morning despite hotel being nearly empty and running water for a long time in hope of...

We made a decision where we could to stay in castles overnight and for the most part we were not disappointed. Beds and mattresses could have been better. We had a nice dinner at Kildrummy and the people were very friendly, in fact all over Scotland we encountered great service and happy people.

First, the hotel is a beautiful facility; we felt we were staying in a Victorian Manor home. The Library, Bar, Drawing Room, and Dining Rooms were wonderful. On our first night there, one of the guest parties had hired a Piper to escort them into the Dining Room; what a wonderful surprise for the rest of the lodgers! The grounds...

Just returned from our annual visit to Kildrummy. Now under new management it is still the perfect place to spend a relaxing weekend. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful despite being busy. The dinner menu was varied and each course was served warm and well cooked. Breakfast was served freshly cooked, no...

Arrived here with two friends to celebrate my birthday. From the minute we got out the car we were blown away by the beauty of our surroundings. The hotel itself is immaculate, warm and inviting. We had a triple room which was very roomy, spotless and tastefully decorated. We had dinner there too and it was good, but not as...

Such a very special place! I almost want to say nothing other than, "You must go"! so you will be as surprised as we were. The grounds were private, beautiful and accessible and the surroundings were idilic. Staff was courteous, capable and attentive. Meals were delightful and delicious! It's a must, you'll always remember the Kildrummy Castle Hotel!

I had zero complaints here. Facility was beautiful, our room came with a view of the castle in the distance. Staff literally would run up water on a platter, or coffee for me. I felt as if I were the only customer (we weren't). A bit out of the way to find but well worth it. The food at property...

I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. Our family planned a trip to Scotland and part of the itinerary included the Lonach Highland Gathering & Games in nearby Strathdon. Because I waited until two months before our trip to book, I discovered that all the hotels in the area were booked full except for the Kildrummy Castle Hotel. I...
