Our host was gracious, welcoming and checked us in quickly. The room was clean, roomy and the bed comfortable. We were told of the history of the house, and shown photos and documents about the background. We were given information about a restaurant right on the waterfront with great fish and chips. Would stay there again if we were ever...

Convenient location before heading up Cabot's trail. On the water in a residential neighborhood. Hosts were pleasant and hospitable.. Good breakfast, but long walk to closest restaurant.. Locals go to Papa's Pub for decent food.

Had a wonderful stay here. The owner is very helpful with directions and foodie suggestions. The breakfast was more than pleasing. Very good value. The motel units are great for those not use to B&Bs and you still enjoy a great breakfast included in the price.

We stayed in the motel section, very clean, new and comfortable. The owners were friendly, gracious and welcoming. We went to the house for breakfast, a wonderful buffet with great variety. I enjoyed the eggs, bacon, fresh scone and fresh fruit salad. And the coffee was great too. Definitely a place I would stay again.

We stayed one night on our way to the Cabot Trail and were slightly disappointed, because we were placed in one of the motel cabins behind the actual B&B, where there was barely enough room for a family with children. However, everything was nice and clean, the host was friendly and breakfast was good. The house itself is beautiful and...

We stayed in one of the motel rooms. It was large, very clean and comfortable. The location is just a few minutes from the highway but feels much further. The community is beautiful with large trees and quiet streets for walking. Breakfast was excellent and the atmosphere was very welcoming and homey. There was a train that passed by late...

Place was clean, family staff friendly and breakfast was served on time with good variety. Conveniently located across the Canso causeway and close to the cabot trail. We had a young child and it was not a problem at all.

The location was very nice and the breakfast was better than most. We liked that you could select the time to eat so you weren't crowded. The buffet style breakfast included freshly cut fruit as well as eggs, meats, breads and biscuits. The proprietor was very friendly and he sat with us for a cup of coffee. The bed was...

This is an old house B&B which has a few motel units (and a good view of Canso Strait) in its yard, but offer motel guests the same home-cooked breakfast as B&B guests. The motel units are new and have modern convenient furnishings. There is a kitchenette unit but no crockery or coffee maker, which would be a nice touch...

We stayed at Harbourview B & B at the beginning of our Cape Breton visit, for 2 nights.. It was a little surprising to have to go out into the hall..to our private bathroom..but it was clean, bright & ended up not being a problem. John & Sharon are great hosts & spent time visiting with their guests at breakfast..Sharon...
