I am from Michigan and am disgusted with the state parks that call an open backyard looking field with sparse trees a campground. This might be an RV park, but not a campground. NOW...the Pinery on the other hand is a campground. While it may not be a rustic site, I do prefer my occasional showering and beach trips and...

Very clean facilities and love the biking and hiking trails. Would like to see more biking trails Could use another dumping station as only one for the park and have to wait after a weekend to use it.

First time camping in the winter and the experience didn't disappoint. The yurt had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The beds are two sets of bunk beds with not much head space for the adults but the mattresses are comfortable. There are chairs and a table provided and a bbq outside for cooking. The bathrooms are close enough...

Very small beach in width in comparison to 2008. The public free beach in Grand Bend just a short drive away, makes up for it. Water is lukewarm to cold, as it is a large lake. Relatively clean, large and private camp sites. Lots of amazing trails! Boats and kayaks are a great activity. Grand Bend has all the necessities...

First visit to Pinery and an amazing place! Campsites are all well shaded and some are really secluded. Ours was one of them...not telling you which one it is...lol. Spectacular dunes scenery...almost a "desert" like scene, especially at sunset...WOW!! Lots of great opportunities for short hikes, biking, canoeing, fishing, swimming. The park is BIG...the three campgrounds are spread far apart....

We had a yurt. It was actually too hot in there for me! It was clean and had what we needed; dishpan and drainer, a fan, electric light. There was actually enough sleeping space for six in a pinch. barbecue was fine. Firepit. Nearby very clean washrooms, shower and laundry if you needed it. Firewood for purchase and kindling --...

Let me start off by saying this Park is HUGE. It took us a couple of days to get the hang of the roads without getting lost. We went on the long weekend in September and stayed for four nights. Our campsite was in the Riverside Campground, Area 3. The site we had was huge, we had two large cars...

We love The Pinery ! We like to go during the quieter times to avoid the partying . That's because we prefer the quiet kind of camping. Lovely place , love the beach, love everything about it ! We will be back for sure !

My family has been going to Pinery on Labor Day Weekend for years, though we have recently switched to a later weekend in September. This is a beautiful park, with a unique ecosystem and beach. The visitor's center is smaller, but has some great birding views- my young nephew was very impressed at his close-up view of a wild turkey...

My second time at Pinery. Always a great experience. Facilities are clean. There is silence (nature sounds) Scenery is beautiful. A great place to relax with family. Also dog friendly and safe. I really recommend this to everyone!
