I absolutely loved this place. I could hear the ocean while laying in the hammock outside of my room. It was clean, there was a great breakfast, and a super nice pool. Such and amazing, nice, and affordable place. It was an easy walk to town. I liked it because it was a little off the beaten path. Not ocean...

Quite simply a little slice of paradise in a wonderful location. Strategically placed far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Mancora centre to be safe and secure but close enough to be only a mototaxi ride away, this hotel is a genuine way to get that relaxing holiday you have always promised yourself but rarely found! The owner,...

A good friend stayed at Kites last year and recommended it for my Peru trip. I stayed for 2 weeks in the wind house bungalow, with a couple of kitesurfing buddies and had a great time. The hotel design is really unique and the rooms are huge. Only issue for Mancora is the mosquitos. The hotel had mosquito nets for...

We spent 3 nights here at the end of January 2014. Our experience at this Hotel was a very negative one, even after we left! We made our reservation via email to the manager of the hotel (who is based 10,000km away in the USA) after being recommended this hotel by friends. She sent us an email containing contradictory prices,...

When my fiancé and I visited this property we negotiated a rate with the lady at the reception desk. When we came back later to move in the guy at the desk told my fiancé that wasn't the rate and gave her a higher one. He was quite rude about it. I didn't hear about this from my fiancé until...

I loved staying here. The double room we had was large and bright with a fridge (bonus) the place was an easy ten min walk max from the main centre, lovely and peaceful, ten second walk to the beach which ends up being private at high tide and a basic but decent enough breakfast. Ok, minor issue was our room...

My new husband and I made an impromptu honeymoon trip to Kites and we were so impressed by how awesome the staff treated us. They were more than accommodating and pleasant, making us a special honeymoon breakfast and getting me a coke in the middle of the night when I didn't feel good. The place is lovely, with kite inspired...

The night we arrived we were asked to come back the next day because the "manager" was off. Needless to say asking someone to not stay in your "resort" when they have a reservation is more than a bit off putting. The staff was for the most part respectful and the place is clean but NOT secure they only had...

“Mancora is FULL of places to stay and the really nice places are not much more expensive but they don't advertise on the internet. I would book one night for the night you arrive and then travel the town for a place to stay the remainder of the trip if possible.”

“The bungalows are direcly at the pool, the double rooms are behind them.”

“Higher rooms are cooler as there is no AC in the rooms. Bungalows looked lovely - next to pool as well - but we did not stay in one. Avoid rooms right at back as some are still being built , so can be noisy”
