I found it difficult to find a place that wasn't the big hotel style lodging that charges an arm and a leg. A random meeting with a guy on the ferry and I had a suggestion to stay here. So glad I did! The rooms are nice, they have running water (a problem on the island), spacious rooms with AC,... More

You get a room, a bed, a bathroom, and a TV with 2 channels. No breakfast. You wont have to pay a lot to stay there, but don't expect much either. It is very difficult to find and there is no sign to identify that you've arrived at the right place. The owner is a nice enough guy who is... More

This review is long over due, having stayed at Posada Margarita in Feb. and March of 2013. We loved our time there. The beds were comfortable and it was a quiet spot, yet only a few minutes walk away from the beaches. Miguel is a wonderful host, can you tell you all what you need to know about the island.... After a year traveling in the Caribbean sailing, doing odd jobs, liming, diving and such we ended up at El Yaque in Isla Margarita. We we're lucky to get a place from Posada Margarita. It's nicely located bit off the main street still being five minutes from everything. Up to now it's one of the most charming posadas in Venezuela... More

I spent 2 weeks in one of the appartments in Playa El Yaque for my kitesurfing course. It's a couple of minutes away from the beach and it has a beautiful garden with hammocks in front of every room and just everything you need to feel at home. The appartments are bright and clean, the kitchen has everything you need... More

Posada margarita was great. My husband and I just returned from a 2 week trip to el yaque for windsurfing and relaxation and posada Margarita was an excellent homebase during that time. The posada was clean, safe, and had a beautiful garden and a convenient walk to the beach. In all honesty, I'm very glad that we chose a quaint... More

Me, my wife and a bunch of friends stayed in Posada Margarita for a week. It was great. The place has everything. Want to party - go to beach (5 min). Want peace and quiet next day - spend a day in hammock. Loved the French toast and omelet with broccoli (thou this one is for special occasions only :)
