This B&B is a perfect place for a peaceful stay. Located just outside Cambridge but away from any main roads, it’s great for chilling out. The house is beautiful and the hosts, Annette and Kelvin, make you feel extremely welcome. The gardens were lovely with a secret garden to find & explore plus there was a deck outside our room...

Pleased you found us a perfect place to stay. Thank you for bringing the wording on Booking.com form to my attention, I will have that changed to Continental Breakfast. I agree its very important not to get surprises when you arrive! We find rather than raise the room rate an extra charge for cooked works well. Regards Annette

An excellent stay in the country and only 10 minutes to Cambridge by car. In the short time we stayed we were treated with excellent hospitality and respect. The breakfast was far better than we have experienced in Hotels. We will be coming back for future stays hopefully for a bit longer.

Glad you enjoyed your short stay,we would love to see you both again when you find time to take a break. Good to hear you enjoyed the breakfast unfortunately the fresh strawberries and blueberries are almost over, soon it will be hot mini omelettes served with specialist sauces to keep warm. Regards Annette.

We stayed one night and it was a wonderful experience. The day was very hot and the rooms had air conditioning which was absolute bliss. The rooms are super clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked. Better than any B&B we stayed before. I loved the little differences with the welcome message board with your name on it plus chocolates in...

Our stay at Blairgowrie House was a very enjoyable experience. Annette and Kelvin are warm and friendly hosts who welcomed us into their home and really made our 3 nights with them unforgettable. Annette helped with suggestions of local restaurants and sightseeing which was very appreciated and Kelvin's "Man Cave" was filled with so many interesting projects, it is a...

I am hard to please. This worked. Idyllic setting, comfortable and well appointed rooms. Beautiful shower room. Enjoyed the option of an intimate breakfast in our room followed by coffee in the garden. Wish I'd booked for the return trip. Well done Annette

One of the best B&B's we have stayed in. The decor is Classic French and a lot of old-worldly charm, the hosts are genuinely down to earth, gregarious and caring. Peaceful, quiet and a perfect place to rejuvenate/recharge. Would recommend it to anyone wishing to explore and unlock the hidden beauty of Cambridge - a quaint town in the Waikato...

We stayed in the Chocolate Room. The ensuite was pristine. The blackout curtains allowed a lovely sleep in. The house is full of interesting antiques. Our hosts couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. Tricky dietary needs were catered for.
