What a beautiful little town topped off with the amazing Hospitality of Marie & Len at Cheltenham House. The Windsor room was gorgeous, soft, cosy beds and a relaxed nothing is too much trouble attitude. Breakfast was the bomb. Your stay here will come with no level of dissatisfaction. Michelle & Raquel.

We stayed and Cheltenham House during a recent trip to New Zealand. The location is very well located for walking around this very attractive town. The rooms were very comfortable and the cooked breakfast delivered to our room was a delight. Maree and Len were great hosts and the evening get together with the other guests provided an opportunity to...

We arrived here very late exhausted after a 9 hour drive from Picton - due to bush fires - our hosts opened a couple of bottles of wine and cooked a pizza for us which was a great gesture. Our welcome was thus great and our room very comfortable with good en-suite . Well furnished we slept really well. This...

We only stayed for one night but we had a great stay in a fabulous location. The owners are a delight and the social wine gathering before going out for dinner was lovely. Breakfast was excellent and nice that it is served to the room so we were able to enjoy it outside our room. Would definitely stay again

Len and Maree are perfect hosts and entertain guests each evening to drinks in the billiard room: very civilised! We stayed in one of the self-contained units in the garden and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast on the terrace. Beds are very comfortable and the only concern we had was the size of the bathroom . Other than that we had...

Len & Maree have a glass of wine with all visitors each evening. A brilliant idea from perfect hosts that breaks the ice and allows instant swapping of stories and experiences. We had a garden room with all amenities. Breakfast is served in your room or outside it (weather permitting) at a time you want. Cheltenham House is 2 minutes...

We had to change our route to the Marlborough Sounds behause of the recent earthquake. So we stayed in Hanmer Springs instead in Kaikoura. Therefore, after 9 years we returned to Cheltenham House and were again not disappointed. The service is still attentive and welcoming: They serve a glass of wine as aperitif and some nice chats with the owners...

We were lucky enough to spend our Christmas at this wonderful establishment. Maree and Len are such lovely people and made us feel so welcome. They were very informative and knowledgeable about Hanmer Springs and any small request was always met with a smile and was no trouble at all. The cottage we stayed in was clean, comfortable and the...
