My husband and I have just had two wonderful nights at the Governor's Bay B&B. We enjoyed every minute - the beautiful views, comfy bed with special linen, spacious room, helpful and welcoming hostess, delicious breakfast and especially the peace and quiet only 25 minutes from Christchurch CBD. Hope to return :)

A very friendly and helpful host, Eva, provided a wonderful breakfast, a lovely spacious room with a view to die for and made up in the finest linen. Thank you so much for making our experience of Governor's Bay so wonderful. We hope to come back one day!

We wanted to stay near friends living nearby and Eva provided the perfect place for our needs. She catered to my coeliac requirements and we loved the view from the very spacious bedroom. So enjoyed visits from the horse, sheep and peacock!

Eva Mason, and her animals, welcomed us and ensured that our stay in her house was everything we wanted. The room is huge with a queen bed, full lounge area, ensuite bathroom with bath and all sorts of AV. WiFi was free. Eva provided an excellent breakfast and accommodated our vegetarian and vegan needs perfectly. Just wish we had time...
