Detailed Reviews
Such a welcoming host, lovely location and overall great condition of the premises. Very clean, inside out, many things to see around like wild animals and landscapes. They also let us play music very loud without any kind of problems (they even said we can go louder than we were already) :)

Beautiful house and location. Lovely well appointed room and bathroom. Gary and Jackie could not be more friendly and helpful. Everywhere was immaculate. I even had a garden tour when I expressed an interest, If we have need of accommodation in that part of the country again, we'll be back!

We had a warm welcome from Garry and Jackie with a cup of tea and a chat. Our room was lovely, everything was catered for and great attention to detail. Don't be put off with the double room not having an en-suite, the bathroom is right outside the room and is still exclusive. A lovely location, relaxing, warm and welcoming, we'll definitely return when we're back in the area.

The Cats Whiskers was easy to find and I was very pleased with the
pleasant smiles I got as I arrived as I was quite late, and was shown
to my room which was immaculate and had a lovely on-suite shower room.
I slept really well and the breakfast which was cooked by Garry and
was delicious, I give you 10 out of 10, fantastic value for money and
I will be making enquiries with you if I ever need accommodation in
that part of the world again.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Jackie and Gary were very welcoming, and helpful when we asked for advise on where we could get an evening meal (they even phoned the booking through for us). The room was great, lovely and clean and we had our own bathroom with a whirlpool bath as well as a shower. This is one of the best B&Bs we have stayed at.

Two nights was definately too short here. Such was the welcome and the total stay. The r oom was large and the bed divine. Breakfast to die for. Gary and Jacky go out of he wy to make you feel welcome. This is a home away from home and would be the best B&B that I have stayed, this is a must visit B&B and deserves the highest recmmendation.

If you are wanting quality then this is the bed and breakfast for you. Both rooms are gorgeous. The property itself is finished to a very high standard and only the best mattresses, linen and furnishings are used. I slept in the larger of the two rooms which was extremely comfortable with it's sofa (makes a nice change not to have to sit on the bed to watch TV). My only criticism is that there's no dressing table for a woman to sit and put on make-up or style her hair - a minor imperfection though and worth the compromise for the quality of the room.
The larger of the two bedrooms has a private bathroom which, again, is fabulous. There is a large separate shower cubicle and a whirlpool bath (which I didn't use as I was concerned it would be too noisy and I'd disturb others). However, although there is a lock on the door, there was no key. I am sure that no-one would disturb you whilst you were using it but nonetheless, it needs a key just to be on the safe side!
The owners.....lovely couple and very accommodating. In fact, there is nothing that they wouldn't do for you. Within the rooms are jars of biscuits and in the bathroom there is a jar of bits and bobs that every lady uses and can easily forget to pack. There are china cups and saucers in the room as opposed to standard mugs which just adds to that touch of class. There are magazines in the room also. All these little extra touches just make the Cat's Whiskers stand out from the crowd.
The breakfast is good and Garry will cook you whatever you desire. Due to the layout of the property, you do have to sit at he kitchen table - personally I prefer the peace and quiet of a dining room as I'm not a morning person and don't particularly want to chat until I've had at least 4 more cups of tea! This is personal choice though and if you don't mind eating and talking then this is the place for you.
The cats are lovely and don't bother you. There's no cat hairs anywhere - the place is exceptionally clean. Jacqui must spend hours cleaning as there is not a fleck of dust or hint of grime anywhere.
I'm not sure what rating this B&B has but it is more like a top hotel than a B&B.
