A peaceful night's sleep & save parking but that is as "good" as it gets. House in desperate need of fixing up, renovations & upgrading. Felt as if we stepped back 40 years in time; style wise. Which is not a good thing. Were shown to our room by having to walk through very cluttered (I have never seen something...

The owner was friendly and welcoming. Our room, large with two, three-quarter beds, however I would have preferred crisp white sheets instead of tired green ones and a duvet instead of heavy blankets. The establishment itself could do with some renovations.

Was very disappointed when the room we had booked more than a year in advance to celebrate our 39th anniversary, was occupied by other guests. General cleanliness and impressions of the room where we had to move to then, was well below standard and should really not be rented out to guests before proper renovations are done.

If you want to experience typical west cost people this is the place to stay. Lisa is a bubbly person typical of the people in this area. Very basic and operational. Where else will you find home made "snoek" fish cakes for breakfast. Here are some of the oldest furniture I have ever seen. Some of the items do have...

Very nice first impression and going on this alone I would recommend Sybille's. Few things to note : You are about 100+m away from the sea. NO...

My wife and I attended the West coast Crayfish festival in Lambersbay. The furniture in the guesthouse is unbelievable and represents three generations of beautiful kept South African furniture. The rooms are tastefully decorated and ensures a peaceful stay. Lisa represents the culture of the West coast and has a wealth of stories about the people and their activities and...

I visited for the HOG West Coast Rally and it is only by chance that I booked with Lisa at the Sybille. And what good fortune it was! The rooms are tastefully decorated and super comfortable. There is no Wi Fi and the TV channels are limited, but for the price this is a wonderful choice. The Sybille is on...

Our family booked out the entire B&B of 5 rooms for a wedding, so my comments below apply to ALL rooms. 1. Rooms smell to the point that you feel nauseous 2. The bedding was dirty 3. The food awful & cutlery dirty 4. Dog poo outside where the cars are parked so you have to dodge it all the...

We experienced the real westcoast here... We had a bad run in with one of the cleaners, a little too much to drink and angry with her boss.... this was a little to close for comfort.... Otherwise we had a nice stay without problems...
