Detailed Reviews
I had a great time staying at the hotel landmark. The rooms were clean and tidy. The staff is polite and cooperative. Quick service was provided. The location of the hotel is quiet and pleasant. the breakfast was good but they should add a few more options to the breakfast menu. The only drawback is the bathtub in the bathroom which is not comfortable for elderly people they should have provided a separate shower area in the bathroom. The hotel also needs renovation in the rooms. Overall a good experience Thanks to the staff.

Just 15 mins from Ratnagiri Railways Station, Landmark will take u to a Surprise with the Look when you enter the Hotel Lobby ... quite nicely done up, elegant look, 2 floors of around 33 rooms ... Must check out the New rooms that have been done ... Very Impressive with the Standard ... Very comfortable, and Experience is indeed Lovely. Little Under staffed but I was told that they are working on it. The food tastes good ... Looking forward for the Sports Bar and the Restaurant which will be Functional in couple of months...
Overall Loved the experience which was doubled with the lovely July rainy weather, All the best for the TEAM and Hope u guys keep up the standards on a decent level ... Cheers.

To start of I was really surprised to see tag of tripadvisor on the reception. It is a very terrible hotel with terrible staff who don't even know anything about hospitality.I never use such harsh language for of my reviews but I was really not happy when I went there to get rooms.
At the first they were not interested in showing us the rooms. After convincing them they sent a boy to show us the room. Believe me the rooms are not very great. Only bathroom has bathtub otherwise they don't even LCD t.v's which is now very common in any budget hotel.
Anyways I would never refer this hotel to anyone.

I had gone to landmark with 17 of my friends in the last week of june for 2 night 3 days. It was a very clean and well managed resort.service was extra ordinary. Food was always served hot and as per our convenience. Since there were a few jain members in our group they wanted to see the kitchen to in order to convince themselves that their food was cooked in separate utensils. Moreover it was rainy season but still we were provided with fresh towels regularly. Food was neatly served . I think it was the best experience for our entire gang at the rates we were offered

We have been here before. At least six or seven times in the last 15-20 years. We have been enjoying business with pleasure regularly over this last decade and half or maybe more. This time our stay was a bit longer for five days as we had a lot many things to do. A number of new hotels have come up but we still chose to stay at the Landmark. The location of the hotel is so serene and not much has changed except three new hotels have come up on the Thibaw palace road. We had a nice suite on the second floor but without a view. The hotel has the commissioner’s bungalow just behind it and then there’s the Thibaw point having a magnificent view of the Arabian Sea. There’s a children’s park also with some paid activities. I managed to capture some beautiful sunsets from here. The hotel has a small but nice staff. We got acquainted with almost everyone working in the hotel. Neha at the reception was smiling and helpful while Dévidas looked after our housekeeping requirements very efficiently. He was more than helpful in locating my WiFi dongle which I had forgotten in hurry. Though we had just two meals at the hotel due to our work, we found them quite delicious. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast which is reasonably good as per local standards. One should carry electric kettle and tea, milk, sugar and coffee if it’s required in the morning before 0730hours, as it’s not offered by the hotel. The G.M. ,Mr. Sangekar is a very courteous and efficient person who is seen moving around the premises at any given hour. My gratitude to him for making suitable arrangements to deliver my WiFi equipment, nicely packaged and labelled. Autorikshaws are easily available as there’s a stand just outside the hotel. This hotel is centrally located to most of the places one may like or choose to go. Having seen other hotels in the city,we are certain that we will be back at Landmark again on our next sojourn. We missed thanking the waiters and the room service guys and acknowledge their excellent service during our stay.

City based hotel that is very clean & comfortable but by far the best part of the hotel is the warm welcome & service from the hotel manager Jay Sangekar & the receptionist (sorry I can't remember her by name.) Their service was warm & genuine and very helpful throughout. Improvements - open the pool & provide a breakfast menu as I wasn't really sure what was available and it seemed a bit limited.
