I stayed for 3 nights. The room was a garden view villa overlooking the mountain and green country side. IT was so quiet and peaceful. A nice change from busy Bangkok. The room was very comfortable and clean. However, the bathroom was very dark even with the blinds open. It needs much better lighting in the bathroom. The towels were a bit old end should be replaced. Meals in the restaurant were okay but the staff seemed not too interested. English was a problem but I am used to that. I will most certainly stay again when I need to chill out and get way from Bangkok. I want to mention Khun Gift at the front reception. She was very pleasant and did an great job to welcome us. She likes her job and is proud to work at The Paz. Thank You Khun Gift.
I should mention from the outset that I work since over 40 years in the hospitality industry. The check-in and departure lacked any smiles and every time I passed no greetings. The accommodation consist of shoebox or container style boxes dotted up and down all over the property and rooms which appear to be in the entrance of a bunker. I had requested a room near the public areas due to walking problems but no such luck.... The room was dated, dark and uninviting. The darkly lit bathroom looked like the dungeons, the toilet seat loose, the shower head needing descaling and generally lacked cleanliness. The bed sheet looked like someone slept in it before, the windows dirty, the window blinds shutters a nuisance, the WIFI via the Smart TV not a smart idea at all and kept on shutting down. What a nuisance compared to the WIFI in the main building. Room furniture partly suitable for a Kiddy Club offering no comfort. The dinner was very mediocre but also very overpriced for what it was and staff friendliness was lacking throughout - particularly at breakfast when I had to wait over 10 minutes for a simple cup of coffee , the yoghurt I ordered never came etc I was looking forward to some fresh air which I got but NOTHING else to relax!…
Honestly I give it a average score due to the fact that the room space for is really comfortable however the interior design is tired ...and use of “wood” is overused. Wooden blinds for all windows and they don’t work well. Service from the hotel again mix feeling I guess due to the lack of tourism the staffs are taking it easy or lost the passion to meet/greet the guest... in my opinion this is the best time to bring out the best in your service to “wow” guest or because of huge language gap thus it felt really cold except for a front desk guy Khun Nat who understands that my female friend feels unsafe alone in that scenic view room and attempts to ensure he gets her a room within my room and near proximity. Level 3 sky bar is closed again it wasn’t inform on the website ... I honestly felt discounted, disgruntled, disdain about this stay here as we have 3 rooms for 1 night. Will I come back again? Will I recommend? …
Very nice looking hotel with it's main building located on top of the hill in Kao Yai. We've had some really good coffee and relaxing time in the hotel's restaurant located on the second floor. Incredible pictures taken from the terrace bar on the third floor. Staff were very helpful and super nice.
Almost 10 years that I haven’t visited Khaoyai and this time I considered to holiday here and stay at The Paz for 1 night with my friend As I checked the reviews and photo from customer, this resort looks minimal and modern style. The swimming pool was attractive! That’s why I considered to stay here! I booked in deluxe type, the accommodation is large and also bathroom and feel comfortable. View from my room is very green from mountains. The resort also have the onsen too! but I didn’t try it. The breakfast was not bad, normal. It should have more variety of the buffet line and menu. Staff was very very nice and helpful.
Good view, great service from staffs . We stayed for one night on weekday that means we received discounts and our room had been upgraded from deluxe to scenery villa. The room was clean. The breakfast was delicious with nice view at the restaurant. We will definitely come back.
We stayed 2 nights 1st night we check in after sunset and the place was quiet , probably because its a Thursday . Reception staff was warm & gave us a welcome drink and took time to explain the facilities areas .Then the buggy drove us to our room . Room is spacious and the bathroom is huge , but I cannot understand the design of putting the bathtub so high up to climb into. Beds were comfy and we had a good sleep. Breakfast area is nice and cheery with a good overview of the lower land . Food selection was limited and not much variety over 2 days Super love their swimming pool
We arrive in the dark, we only realise the beautiful environment the next morning. i approach the staff at the buffet breakfast to help me identify which item is suitable for vegetarian and they offer to get the kitchen to cook me something which i expect to be a plate of noodle or something of that sort, so i accepted it. When the food arrive, i was dumbfounded, they serve me a plate of spaghetti, a big plate of stir fry mixed veg, a big bowl of hot spicy mushroom soup and a plate of omelette. what a spread! throughout my stay, the staff could identified me n without fail asking me if i want something from the kitchen everyday at breakfast. very impressed. Beside the staff, what we love most is the bee eaters ard the hotel, there are lots of them and they are so beautiful, cant stop admiring them. …
1st Stay after reading reviews. Location = Is very inside with own entrance gate barrier. Is better for tourist to stock up snacks or drinks from the nearby 7/11 before getting the driver to head up the long up slope to the hotel. Room= Clean and spacious. The only thing I dislike is the bath tub which require a bench to climb in and out. Can pose a danger if one slip and fall. Cleanliness = Just be prepare to welcome insects, flies or ants if you intend to stay in a nature place. We are fine as we managed to kill 4 at one go. Light = There is room to improve to brighten up the gloomy light in the room to make it more accessible for guests to take stuffs from mini bar fridge Breakfast = Staffs have difficulties understand simple english even when we pointed to them the menu description but came wrong order. Breakfast is very limited and there is not much variety to choose. Overall- is a good experience but I can't say is the best in Khao Yai…
The Paz Khao Yai has a very fabulous hilltop scenery and surrounded by beautiful landscape. I was so lucky to be there when the weather on this valley was good which made my stay even better than what I have expected. My Jacuzzi Villa is so big having a big living room with pantry, a big restroom with separated shower room, a big bedroom with Jacuzzi Bathtub, and a big balcony. This room is so stylish and comfortable where you can spend the whole day enjoying the relaxing moment and beautifully natural view. This property is easily accessed by car. I don't see many restaurants around the area but there is a 7/11 convenient store just in the front of the small street to the entrance of the hotel.
