We had a tour today with Kuhn Djib. He was so informative and friendly. The company was very easy to book through and answered any emails quickly. Saw gibbons, giant squirrels and a wild elephant amongst many other Smaller animals. A really great company to book Khao Yai National Park tours through. Thank you!
Just finished a 2 1/2 day tour with our guide Ben and his 2 drivers. Well organised, collected and returned to our hostel as well as one night camping. We have seen more wildlife and walked more jungle than I would have thought possible all the time feeling safe, secure and educated. Ben is an excellent fun guide with good language skills and in depth knowledge of the jungle. We went off the beaten track as well as the popular waterfalls and viewpoints and saw from snakes to gibbons to Elephants. The camping is basic and in the parc campsites as required but means you are onsite. I have enjoyed the whole experience and so pleased we went with this company.
Spent an excellent day with guide Djib on this tour. He was very knowledgeable, pointed out loads of information about the jungle (plants and animals) and was great at spotting things for us to see. The walk through the jungle to the waterfalls was perfect for the kids (7 and 5). Great tour!
My husband and I had a great trekking trip to the jungle with Jip our guide with Bobby's tours. He was professional and knowledgeable. He took the trouble to look out for animals while trekking in the jungle. An enjoyable trip.
likes: -driver had a scope. before the actual jungle tour, he spots some birds and monkeys and let us see them through the scope which is nice -tour guide is good at english -free bottled waters -free pickup and drop-off at our hotel in pakchong dislikes: -the trek had only 1 guide. They should have a sweeper(guide at the very back) so that no one gets left behind in the forest. -when there was an elephant on the road, the driver did not even turn around so that everyone could see the elephant. every other pickup truck there had their cars turned around so that everyone get to see the elephant. we were at the blind side of the vehicle so its hard to see the elephant from our side. we had lots of time to turn around the vehicle but the driver did not even do it -guide was in a hurry -the 1 day tour was not worth its price…
Bobby’s apartment is perfect if you are looking for an apartment and a jungle tour in Khao Yai. The apartments are very clean, great bed, good airco, fast wi-fi and a you also have a fridge. The owner (Mike) is a very friendly German man, speaks English well and is always willing to help. His wife is a Thai woman and also the chef of their restaurant. Before we visited them we read that the food was really great, and we couldn’t agree more. The food was delicious and cheap. They also have two really great dogs. As for the jungle tour, we had an amazing trip! We did the one-day-tour in Khao Yai and we loved it. We left at 7 am and came back around 7:30 pm. They provided socks for leeches and lots of water. Lunch was also included in the price. We started with a short stop at the Khao Yai museum and then we hiked through the jungle and spotted several wild animals. Then we had lunch at the campsite and after lunch we drove to two different waterfalls. Our tour guide (Tina) was a lovely young woman, who showed us a lot and knew where to spot which animals. Overall, great experience! I would really recommend it. …
My boyfriend and I booked the 1,5 days tour with Bobby's jungle tour and were super happy with the organization and our guides Ben (half day tour) and Arnont (full day tour). Both were very friendly and funny and also knew a lot about wildlife and nature. They picked us up at our accommodation and then we started with the half day tour which I can only recommend to do mainly because of the million bats flying out of their cave during sunset time to hunt. It looked amazing and I couldn't believe my eyes. The full day tour was completely different as we then explored the Khao Yai national park by car and by foot (4 hours walking in the jungle). Arnont made this day very special with his sense of humor and his huge knowledge about all the different species in the national park. He not only pointed on big animals but also on plants and insects which was very interesting aswell. We were happy to see some wild elephants in the jungle (only 10m in front of us), a gibbon family with a little baby, some different hornbills, deer, monkeys and lots of colorful birds and butterflies! Both tours are offered for a reasonable price as they also include drinks/snacks/lunch! Definitely a must do if you are in that area of Thailand!…
We had a wonderful time at Bobby's. We arrived in the morning on the first day of our 1.5 day jungle tour. After settling in, our fantastic, guide, Annon, took us out to see a Buddhist cave temple and millions of bats flying out to hunt for the night. It was a sight I will never forget. That night we had a wonderful dinner and a good sleep, in anticipation of the next day. We had a full day at Khao Yai National Park. The day began with a Macaque siting, followed by Annon spotting a family of Gibbons and a Great Hornbill. The weather turned before our hike began, so it was cut short and we didn't spot any animals on route. Annon was wonderful and told us a lot about the nature of the jungle. After lunch, we set out to look for elephants. We didn't see any due to the rain but we did find a snake and a scorpion. In all, we couldn't have complained at all.…
The food in the guesthouse is great, simple, authentic, very tasty! And it's nice to sit together with other travellers in the evening. The rooms are very simple, which is ok for a Nationalpark trip and for the price, but definitely need a renovation and need to be a bit cleaner. We were disappointed by the tour, but it depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for a one day jungle hike and getting deep into the park far away from the streets, it's not the right thing. But for a "soft" start into the park, to see waterfalls, have a 1h hike, it's ok. We saw elephants in the evening which was awesome and really made our day in the end.
We did a jungletrip and have seen lots of animals; we were lucky to see also some elephants but that seems to be not so evident. Our guide Annon was wonderfull : he gave us a lot of information, could see interesting things where we didnt see it at first, he was very enthousiast and humurous which made our trip even better. To stay in the park at night was an experience because of the noises you hear. There were few people at the camping, but maybe it can be busy in high season? My husband needed a comfortable bed because of his health, but in fact it was possible to go out the park at night to come back in the morning
