Relaxing Lofthouse for Family and Friends

I have recently visited the penthouse. We have stayed in the four bedrooms for the family trip, as i have my family and friends paying a visit in Thailand and it would be good to bring them outside Bangkok to experience the local life. The host is very nice to introduce the place and helping me to arrange the trip around Pakchong including UNESCO World Heritage - Khaoyai national park and the place around. The place is a second home and not the hotel, so we do not expect the hotel service and prepare our own food. The location is around 15 minutes from the main road and 20 minutes from the hypermarket Tesco. The penthouse is huge for our group of 8 and we are very glad to find the place is well prepared upon our arrival. We have prepared BBQ for our dinner around the balcony and it's a very good experience.. The area is quiet but beautiful. The view from the balcony is beautiful especially early morning, in which we prepare our own breakfast. We have a nice stay and thnak for the hosts.…

Shocking experience!!!

1. The place is essentially an abandoned property and a really horrible building. The whole site was in total darkness. There was no reception area, nobody working there, except an old security guard doing his night shift with just a flashlight and unable to communicate in any other language at all except Thai. 2. The elevator was broken and the whole place was pitch dark and we were put up on the 4th storey which was not convenient at all. The rest of the compound (storeys 1, 2, 3 and 5 were totally dark) 3. There is a HUGE security risk. The apartment itself, the glass doors could not be locked as the locks were broken. 4. The kitchen utensils are dirty, dusty and oily. 5. Another funny thing is the room got baby beds, baby cot, baby chair, baby stuff, it looks like a long period abandoned house and not a resort at all. 6. The Wi-Fi is not working at all. In view of all these issues, we decided to leave the compound immediately. We do not even want to imagine what might have happened if we had stayed even for one night.…
