Back in its heyday this place must have been the Francophile owner’s Versailles, even today it looks grand despite the crumbling buildings, potholed roads, and overgrown garden. Highly recommend to stay at the new residences wing at the back, which are very new. It’s a short walk to the open air breakfast area. The main resort buildings are in a pitiful state and seem to have squatters in them, seeing from the laundry hung outside. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment complete with kitchen & living room in the Bellevue building, which was really nice & big. Only complaint was the phone in the deserted lobby kept ringing non-stop until I took matters in my own hands and took the receiver off the line. Later someone put the receiver back and it started ringing again, this time I unplugged the line but discreetly left it under the phone so no one can tell.…
We booked 3 rooms 1st room was smelly 2nd room a/c is not working well and we found something feces next to the bed. Then we try to use a hotel phone but it's not working all 3 rooms, so we've to call by our phone and the staff came with a broom and clean it. Outside the building is stunning. Many photo spots. (I forgot to take a photo inside the room)
We have stayed for 1 night with 10 rooms. We really impressed the front desk team that always made our group with a lot of thing, mainly impression and showing us the best service of local hospitality. Also thank you very much to Khun Ple receptionist who always smile and served us for all details about the hotel as we are first time of stay, she is prefessional. Concierge team are very good and ready for golf cart as well. The rooms are great location that surrounding with panoramics view. Maria restaurant is good food , good service from F&B Team. Highly reccommend to stay here and definitely , we will be back again. Thank you very much indeed.
This hotel is a great place to stay in Khaoyai, it's a French themed resort, and it's very peaceful. The rooms are luxurious and very clean. The environment around is very enjoyable for spending time with family. There's a pond with geese, the pool is very nice for swimming too,but its shower looks a little worn-out. For breakfast you have to go to the breakfast building by riding a complimentary golf cart and the breakfast was very enjoyable too
I did stay for one night during my business trip. Price on Weekday was OK but very questionable on weekend. However, all surrounding seems so nice and place for breakfast was very natural and beautiful. During our stay, electricity has been dropped fir 3 times (over usage in Khaoyai area?)
was there for 2-day workshop. the place is very photogenic. this hotel is only 7 years old but seems like it had been here 20 years. the room is wearing out and in need of big renovation. Breakfast is SAD!
it's ok. the view? you are in khao yai so... room? it's ok.. with what u would need to spend a night or two, cleanliness in bathroom to be improved though maintenance? 2 out of 5 .. pool tennis lawn bicycle...fitness all in bad shape reality vs photos? 2.5 out of 5 breakfast 1 out of 5 , i didn't expect much but it failed
You have choice of buildings in this vast European style hillside resort. With breathtaking views and iconic buildings resembling Alpine villa scenes, the resort has been made the scene for several Thai movies and made for TV soap operas. We chose the Chateau, the main building and found it conveniently located. We heard Mountain Villa is also hugely popular with guests. The resort is so vast you need to drive around in your car or you can use the chauffeur-driven golf cart. Bicycles are also available for free. Breakfast is served at beautiful Maria House by the lake, with swimming ducks and geese. However, we found it better to stay indoor rather than lakeside to avoid the intruding flies. The place is value for money given its convenient location and facilities.
We stayed here two nights and as most reviews states, you enter through a grand entrance which leads you to the chateau. Inside the chateau, you check in with the receptionist, who happens to be one of rudest I have come across in the service industry. She does not have the skills to be customer focused, so I am surprised she is the first point of call at the resort! We were given a room at the lakeside villa, which was satisfactory with its cosy (small) room but clean and functional. The dining room has a dark and depressing interior, although this was outweighed by the satisfactory large buffet selection available for breakfast which consists of Thai products. The highlight are the gardens and the surrounding areas. From a distance, the views are good, in fact we saw a couple to taking their pre wedding photos in the premises. However, once you encounter closer to the facilities offered, the swimming pools, sauna, tennis courts, golf and bicycles, the condition of these are well past their best. The facilities have just not been maintained and it seems the resorts budget is to maintain the gardens! So if you are after a relaxing get away using the facilities offered, I wouldn't recommend this resort, but if it's just for a night or two enroute to elsewhere, then its satisfactory. Overall, a two out of five seems fair according to the price you pay. …
The service is the best, the staff at the hotel always greeting us with the smile on their face and provided us with a good service. I would recommended the Victoria House, if you're travelling with a group of friends or family. Due to there are the private rooms that could make you feel like living in your own home, such as the living room, kitchen, dinning room, and the balcony in every bedroom on the 2nd floor. BTW, some room needed the maintenance. Noted : There are fluffy cats at the resort, they're really cute and huggable :)
