A truly amazing tented resort! We chose the signature tent which provide the city amenities in the midst of the nature. Good variety of food in the restaurant and friendly staff. Highly recommend this resort if u are looking for a getaway and be close to nature!

We had super wonderful experience here. The check-in and check-out was fast and efficiency with very hospitable staff who also speak good English. It is just about 300m off the main town touristy areas and can easily walk for food, groceries, etc. Overall, the resort is superb; clean, well kept, orderly, secure, quiet and private. It makes for a pleasant cool walk, especially in the mornings. The Eco-tent we stayed are clean and in good condition, inside and outside. The bed is very comfortable. The shared bathroom facilities is a small inconvenience but it offers adequate numbers of clean and private cubicles. The open air standing shower is also a wonderful experience. The water pressure is good and there's hot and cold water. The entire resort is amply lit by subdued lightings to blend with the natural environment. The on-site carpark is large and secured. Breakfast is very good and provides a good range of local and western food. The resort is noisy in a good way with presence of lots of insects, birds and small animals, but human loud talkings and partying is a put off since the tents are not soundproof. Look out for the pretty woodpeckers and the snow white squirrels and the occasional checkos. Outside the tents, are beautiful mountain range views. Most mornings, they are shrouded by mists. In the evening, around 6.30-7.00pm, we were fortunate to see many waves of thousands of bats, flying out from the mountain areas and crossed the resort. Overall, this is simply a wonderful resort.

Lala Mukha is a very special experience. The hotel is well situated and well maintained. The tents are small but very cute and if you want to get close to nature, this is it. Some cheapskates might feel that ca. 100 usd for a tent is expensive, however you are paying for the experience and an experience it is. We saw a elephant at 6:15 in the morning right behind our tent (the people who thought we his place was expensive probably were asleep…). In any case it is worth it.

Me and my friend were total of 4, we choose the property as our weekend escape from Bangkok. As expected, the resort is amazing! It is very natural, good and clean tent. And we also would recognize Ms. Mine for her spectacular service, efficient and professional. We actually would like to recognize others staff but they were not wear name-tag. But all the staffs are 5/5.

Set in a perfect ambience and view of nature, what would have been a perfect experience became a rather disappointing one.! The hardware of this place is beautiful and truly well thought of. Nonetheless, the service, mannerism, warmth and hospitality of the staffs are really close to zero. When we arrived, no one came to greet us. So first impression is gone. We were left wandering the premises and wondering what is the procedure to check in. We had to ask the receptionists and greet them before we got some information. There was welcome drinks but the way it was presented was so cold, none of us felt welcomed. Upon check in, some of our rooms had no water, safe and refrigerator not functioning, no hot water and WiFi has been rather weak. Isn’t this supposed to be checked before you hand over keys to any new guests?! One of our tents had a spoilt zipper on top and insects and lizzards could come in making our stay rather uncomfortable. For 3 days, despite making a report, nothing was done. We were told Saturday and Sunday there is a campfire. Nonetheless, we checked in on a Sunday and no campfire whatsoever. When we asked the staff, he just said sorry don’t have. No explanations, no smiles. One of our friend twisted her ankle and needed some ice. We went to the kitchen staff to ask for ice. He charged us! The price isn’t much but if he could have just asked, “how are you? How is the leg, and here is some ice for you” that would have been priceless!! Far more worth than what he charged. But no, not a care, not a smile not a single show of concern nor empathy. We have been visiting many hotels and hospitality industries in Thailand.. this is by far, the worst we ever encountered! We were looking for the manager to voice our disappointments but none came. With all these really bad staff attitudes and unfriendliness, I must say only 2 staffs ever smiled, greeted and assisted us with information. They are Bew from reception and Kita from kitchen. Everyone else seemed like they had no mood to serve us, like we owe them a business by coming here and like “this is our style, don’t like it, leave!” So if you are considering Lala mukha and want it to be a warm, homely and friendly place to spend your holidays, this is far from it! Unless you want nature, nice views and to be left alone, then this is the place for you. For us, we will not come back and put up with sulking and clueless faces.

It is tented but I feel like I was staying in 4 stars hotel. Staffs were helpful, room was fully equipted with amenities needed. Breakfast also delicious and variety. Suggest come in winter so you can feel a chill breeze that you can not find in Bangkok and no need to fly to Chiangmai just 2.30 hrs drive from Bangkok. Recommended !!

++ Next level of camping in Thailand. The whole place was so organize and beautiful. The tent that we stayed doesn’t include a bathroom. We used the shared bathroom, they do have both indoor & outdoor shower. Shampoo, hair dryer, cottonbud etc... are provided. Infinity pool is just a few steps away from our tent. Breakfast Buffet was great. — At night, walking around is difficult as it’s too dark. They should install more lamp light. It’s a pity that we visited during the week long rainy season (September 2020). We didn’t really take any outdoor picture as it was pouring non stop during our trip.

On impulse we made a reservation and stayed 2 nights. Relatively expensive but also good quality! Lovely tents, good food mediocre cocktails but good wine. We enjoyed a couple of days outside in a beautiful resort!

Not highly recommended: 1) The price set at that time was close to 120 dollars. This price can be a good five-star hotel in Bangkok, Thailand and other second- and third-tier cities. When we needed to add a quilt, we were told that we needed to pay an extra 100B, which was very shocking for us,in Thailand from youth hostels to five-star hotels never happen this kind of behavior can only show that they are anxious to make money 2) There is a big road outside. The passing cars are noisy. 3) The air conditioner is afraid to turn on at night. The noise is not ordinary. 4) Public toilets and bathrooms need to go a long way, dare not go to the toilet at night, the atmosphere is scary 5) Limited breakfast variety, vegetables were not washed, and there were obvious black spots 6) The front desk of the hotel basically did not smile and greeted The hotel is mainly quiet and family-friendly. I didn't find it very quiet. After check-in, it didn't match the price. The price of this hotel is around 30 USD.
