An absolutely charming resort with whimsical touches in the villas. Each Villa has a different design. We opted for one with a steam room. The resident animals (dogs, pigs, horses, cats, sheep, chickens) are adorable. The staff are polite, friendly, kind and responsive. Breakfast was nutritious, balanced and delicious. We took the countryside tour on the double decker dining car. It was so much fun! It is peaceful here, and the night sky is full of stars, We didn’t want to leave.
This is the best quality/price in Khao Yai, very nice place, friendly staff and great coffee!! They are close to the nature and their hotel is a beauty and have a nice swimming pool, horses and a small lake where you can fee the fish. Perfect for families or friends that want to relax in the nature Since the first moment you feel welcome and the good vibes. We will definitely come again 😊
This place is set out in the country and surrounded by organic farms. Set out as 10 to 12 individual rotund and all different small 'villas' with their own gardens and built in med and north African style, the whole thing is delightful. Sweeping back drop of a heavy wooded mountain (there is a trail you can follow on their complimentary bicycles) the accommodation is without fault - large spacious bedroom and very comfortable double bed, shower room and even a steam room attached. Daily make up of room. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be taken in the open air restaurant across the lovely small lake. Breakfast is waited on by staff and there is basically nothing that you cannot order. All so well done within a lovely setting - two paddocks adjacent with about 10 donkeys who just love human beings, including their 3 loving and ultra friendly Labrador dogs. We stayed here for 2 nights and loved ever moment of it. A car is I guess essential. They have golf type buggies to troll you down the lane to your villa. And an absolute bargain price wise and delightful staff who all speak English. I think it is a family run business who clearly take pride in this lovely set up.…
This place is absolutely fantastic, can’t fault a thing about it. As you drive in you may have your doubts, it doesn’t look much, but it’s actually an amazing getaway. Slightly odd, but fantastic all the same. Get a villa with a steam room recommended! We had such a great time here, Pool is great, Restauraunt and bar is great.. staff were absolutely fantastic throughput. highly recommended, thank you so much !!!! 👍👍👍🇹🇭❤️
The hosts spoke good English (no issue with communication) and could tell that the proud husband and wife owners spent their best effort to upkeep this restful place. Owner provided direction to the resort on the day of check in. It is advisable to check in before sunset. Our children enjoyed the simple warm porridge, corn flakes and American breakfast with organic salad from nearby organic farm. Happy chicken = happy eggs for breakfast too. We enjoyed the time spent with the ponies and chickens, and the 2 friendly house dog. We tried wall climbing, trampoline and boat paddling. All within the resort compound. The best was an evening tour to a neighbouring organic farm on the owner’s modified tram. The sunset, cool breeze and educational tour was marvellous. Away from the city and support the locals. Decided to stay for home cooked dinner (by the wife), instead of looking for a restaurant in town. We didn’t regret any of our decisions. During the dinner chat, we came to know that the hosts used to operate a restaurant in Bangkok. IG worthy too if we slow down our pace to look for the perfect frame. The stay made our trip to Khao Yai a memorable one. …
We had a great stay in Ville de la Vie. Easy to acces Khao Yai National Park, beautiful park, garden, swimming pool and farm animals. Cottages were wel equipped and clean. Warm welcome by the very friendly owner and his staff. Good restaurant, breakfast but also dinner.
A family run B & B style hotel with farm animals, very suitable for families with children. Enjoyed breakfast with eggs picked from the farm with a little something extra. Perfect for those who want to escape from the bustling city life.
Nice resort in the middle of nowhere, friendly owners, ideal if you are looking for isolation and rest away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Ponies, hens and pigs, will be your companions during your stay. Quite expensive but clean and good private rooms with steam bath. You need to have a vehicle, because the resort is far from the main attractions.
As the resort was fully booked when we enquired, we asked whether we could pop in for lunch instead. Ordered crispy pork knuckle, minced pork, spicy beef soup and fried soft-shell crab...really yummy meal cooked on-site by the owner's wife...there is a small sala in the premises which exhibited paintings by artists with some disabilities eg. painters using their mouths to make brushstrokes etc...some really nice paintings and a strong message of support which was impressive... We managed to see one of the twin occupancy villas...each villa has a steam room...there is a nice chill vibe about the place, good food and such great hospitality that we left feeling really full and happy!
It is a farm resort but the horses are malnutrition which we can see bones. Piglets, rabbits and chickens are fun animals. Children will enjoy 4th his place. 2 dogs are well behaved and friendly. Food is good.
