Hidden from the busy main roads, a lovely sanctuary indeed. We booked the 3 stories bungalow, it has the old charm of many wooden furniture & yet modern facilities to line the entire home to appear cozy and elegant. 3 large bedrooms, each lined up with large soft beds, air conditioned with private toilets. Full kitchen & large dining table that can easily house large gatherings. Wifi was great throughout the entire compound. Owner was superb, greeted us personally & showed us around. He was at the breakfast in all 3 days that we were there, BF starts at 730am & they served us great porridge, fried eggs, toasted bread, sausages, fruits, hot & cold drinks. BF was decent. Free bicycles to cycle around the area. About 15mins drive to Pakchong town. There is a mini mart about 5mins drive away. Overall it was a great stay for all of us. There are hotel and villa that you can enjoy the sunctuary. It is very good view and quiet. Hotel shows antique style decoration, and very clean. Breakfast is perfect, there are international, Thai, Chinese, fruit juice, yoghurt, tea and coffee, etc. Thanks the owner (k. Panu, k. Nat) to make this perfect place for relaxation.

There's a big house of 3 bedrooms with full equipped kitchen. Good for families cooking time. I stay on the 3rd floor of the house, in May, but the weather is good, no need to turn on air condition at all. The main building is also nice in European decoration. Seek for a good deal from websites. It's worth spending one or two nights here.

This is a perfect sanctuary hiding away from the busy days in big city to recharge your energy. Just 2 hour easy driving from Bangkok, I can be in a comfort place with a nice weather all year round. The facilities are comfort and fully equipped the same as hotel but the excellent care from the owner that makes this place better. The warm welcome and caring from owner "just think it out loud, we'll find it for you" makes this place outstanding from others in the same neighbourhood. The villa (big house) is perfect for family or group of friends reunion which I stayed several times. The hotel is for personal privacy or for a couple. Just sitting in a nice declining chair with an easy wind breeze on the balcony, i can easily fall asleep. I can also prepare an easy healthy dish from the natural fresh ingredient found in the neighbourhood. It's the real break that I could not find in other places. it's my "must stay" every year anytime.…

I stayed at the villa (a 3-storied house with three bedrooms) with friends (one of them with a baby) and had a great time there. The villa is private, cool, spacious, well-furnished, and generously equipped with appliances. The owner is helpful and flexible; if you speak with him of your intended activities before arrival, chances are that he can provide plans or some equipment, like additional bikes or a charcoal stove for BBQ party.

I booked this resort based on the high review score that it has received from other travellers. I was looking for an economical paradise where a family could feel that they were in their own house in the hills and we found this at the Jardin de Mangue. The owner Mr. Panu made us feel like family and it was worthwhile upgrading ourselves to the 3 bedroom villa with its ten beds for two reasons. First you cut the food and beverage costs where hotels charge you a lot of money. The owner Mr. Panu provided us with a list of nearby hypermarts such as Makro and Lotus Tesco and other local restaurants to dine. His kitchen is well equipped along with basic provisions which set you up. They also provide a charcoal BBQ and maid service to assist with this. Secondly the ground plus two storey three bedroom house is spacious with ample sit out areas in a beautiful and private orchard garden setting. You can hear the sound of water where ever you are on the ground floor. You can withdraw into a cosy nook with a good book and there is no need to leave the resort for as long as you wish. The resort has four bicycles so I would suggest exploring the surrounding hilly and stunning countryside using this option. If you are a nature buff, head for the nearby Khao Yai national park and check out the waterfalls, nature trails. One recommendation is that you must have a self drive car if you're not a local as you are a little removed from the commercialism. Also the resort's restaurant only does breakfast. So you may need to forage for food in the surrounding countryside. This resort is ideal for a family or close friends getaway within a short distance from Bangkok.…
