Don't expect a 5 stars room, 5 stars service. This place is cool and relaxing in a down to earth way. Next to a white sand beach where I had no hesitation to jump into the sea and realizing that I was a little part of this world. I rent a motorbike (the first time I learnt to ride) and...

I liked this place, sorta. I rented a deluxe room for two nights. There was a street light that glared through the window. In fact, my view was of the street light. The room was nice, the staff was very nice. Breakfast had eggs made to order. The beach was nice, but I wasn't thrilled about the neighboring places, they...

Totally overpriced. Yes it is nice and the staff for the most part are friendly but you are paying 5 star prices for a 3 or 4 star hotel. We were pushed intlo this resort when the one we wanted was full (Sai Kaew) so be carefull as the hotels are not the same within the same family of resorts!...

The resort is located at the north end of the island so if you are looking for nightlife, you will need to walk 35-45 minutes to the other side of the island. This is no problem except the island is FULL of loose dogs. Seriously, dozens of them. And the road is dimly lit, not at all in some places....

We were 2 families staying in Jomtien beach and came over to Samet for the night. We booked the 2 beachfront cottages here which were absolutley perfect! It is definitely the best for the money on Samet. We travelled the 15 mins or so over the bumpy roads to the Eastern side but they were simply not as nice. The...

“1 , The scooter rent shop is just across the street , 300 baht for 24 hours. 2, hotel has their private boat pier which is good. But check timetable in advance. 3, the hotel has free ground transfer once a day, but they don't tell you this. We still paid. Next time I reminded them, they actually knew.”

“202 was nice because it was far enough away from the street that we didn't get as much noise and it's just a few steps from breakfast/the restaurant so the baby monitor would stay connected while he slept and we sat outside.”

“There are some beach front rooms if you want a view of the sea otherwise a short stroll across the road will get you onto the beach from the garden rooms.”
