Thank you for a wonderful stay at Viking holiday resort. We stayed here for 16 days and I sincerly say that there is not one place better to get away from job stress and really lower your shoulders and feel the calmness taking over day after day. We stayed there for few days and wish we would have stayed longer. The resort is in a quiet part of the island, which is lovely for a romantic holiday, or with a family. The team managing the place was great and very nice. Tich was giving us lots of useful advices, and was always smiling and being available. The...

Visited for 3 nights as a solo and total relaxing and the owner Tich is so welcoming and helpful. Basic accom - 3 star, but you have wifi, aircon, tv and hot water for only 1200 baht a night. 15m walk to the beach from my room, very slow pace and the water is gorgeous. Never left the resort as...

Back from a weekend in Samet, we enjoyed staying at Viking Resort : very good value, friendly prices, the food was excellent and location as well, in a pretty calm bay with small sandy beaches. New manager since more than a year I think, she's doing a great job and it pays : small bungalows not luxurious but very clean,...

Although we didn't actually stay at this resort (the bungalows were a bit set back for us) the staff were extra helpful. We ate here on three occasions because we loved the staff and the food was delicious. The chill out area was lush and their little husky puppy was possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen. We needed to...

We arrived at Viking with the intention of checking out some more places before deciding where to stay for the week, but the warm welcome of the manager and her team quickly showed us: look no further. We booked 2 cabins (the resort only counts 8) for 6 nights. Situated right by the beach front terrace, it had everything we...

Viking resort is very good indeed. Amazing manager and staff, picture perfect location (although not in walking distance from the pier, motorbike rent recommended), good value for money (spent 6 nights in low season for 1000 baht for night, a/c, hot water, own bathroom, breakfast etc.). Everyone was so friendly (kinda hard to find friendly guesthouse keepers in ko samet)...

This place is great and you should go there. Stumbled upon it randomly and couldn't have been happier. Stayed there with two friends for 3 nights, each night was 2100 baht for two rooms. Super sweet manager, not that busy, beautiful beach, amazing island. Lived in Thailand for over two years and this spot is top 3. You won't regret...
