Surely one of the best stays in the world. From comfortable rooms to unbelievable food. Very close to the ski slopes. The only thing you can complain about is if you do have to little time speding at this amazing hotel. For sure a 6 star. Compliments to the family run hotel from wife owner to son to grandpa.

This was a return visit for us, having stayed here in Feb 2015 and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant has been totally extended and renovated to an extremely high standard, modern and contemporary. We were upgraded to one of the newly renovated rooms which was beautiful and extremely stylish (see photo) and there was a bottle of fizz and some...

I stayed there for a skiing and wellness trip over the weekend. The hotel is in the middle of the skiresort and everything can easily be reached by foot. You can also use the hotelcard in a restaurant in the resort on the mountain and you get a discount, very convenient. The Spa area is big for a hotel and...

Excellent food and right next to slopes, ski school, equipment hire etc. Attentive staff who made us feel looked after. Kids loved the pool and lots of spa type facilities for the adults. Family room accommodated all five of us easily. If we came to Kuhtai again we'd stay here again.

The hotel is very traditional where rooms are concerned and the bathroom leaves you in a sad state. All white, white to light, no charm whatsovever. Public area's have been renovated and the restaurant is truly wonderful. Cozy, elegant design! Staff is amazingly friendly, which forgives the shortcomings on the room side. We celebrated new year there and the set...

Chose Kuhtai for an easter ski holiday. Sadly had pretty exceptionally bad weather for the time of year but the comfort and facilities of the hotel made up for this. Hotel on main street very handy for the slopes, ski hire etc. Booked for a family of 4 and had 2 connected rooms which were standard and very spacious. The...

From the initial telephone enquiry, subsequent e-mail reservation and for the duration of our four night stay I can only offer high praise for this super hotel in the tiny village of Kuhtai. The staff were all extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with a separate seating area (sofa could be made into a further bed if...

Found this place on TA where it already rated very well. We agree entirely. Great location in a resort where the snow is more reliable but still close to Innsbruck. The staff are terrific, very friendly, helpful and polite. The food is awesome, terrific half pension menu with great variety and excellent presentation. We stayed for 2 weeks and really...

A very well located hotel which is almost ski in, ski out. Very friendly service, at reception as well as in the bar and dining areas. We asked for a room change after the first night (see room tips) and it was no trouble at all. Value for money, this place is fantatstic. Also has a great pool for younger...

My husband and I decided to spend Christmas in Austria. Coming from Australia it is a very long flight. When we got to the hotel we lost our passports, credit cards and car keys! The hotel were not willing to help us find them, and when we asked for the police to be called we were told that the police...

“Ask for a renovated room, which has a lovely modern bathroom with lots of shelving space, plus a walk in robe with heaps of storage. Take half pensione so your breakfast and dinner are organised, and its one less thing to think about. You can give lunch a miss after a big brekkie or stop for coffee in town for afternoon tea when you've had enough on the slopes.”
