Christoph and Nina are both totally with their hearts in this hotel. They are true, warmhearted hosts, not just hotel owners. We were greeted with a Hazelnut Schnapps (Haselnussschnaps) and the breakfast buffet was delicious with a good selection. Eggs as desired fresh from the kitchen, and a fresh smoothie for each. The breakfast area could be a bit bigger...

We stayed in this wonderful small traditional Boutique Hotel for 2 days and we enjoyed every minute of it even though the weather was not the best. Upon arrival we were greeted by Christoph with a Hazelnut Schnapps which was a nice touch. The room was very spacious and clean the bathroom was very well presented with an interesting shower...

We stayed a week at this charming hotel with a half-board package from a travel company. The hotel is typically Austrian in style with a lovely wood panelled stuberl where we ate our meals. There was a good choice for breakfast and the dinners were delicious. The room is very well appointed with plenty of cupboard space and my husband...

Just spent a relaxing week at this most wonderful and welcoming hotel. The ambiance created by the hotel owners and staff makes you unwind and relax instantly. Regular visitors to Austria would find this hotel to represent everything that is traditional to the Austrian way of life. The food was of high quality, catering for all needs, well varied and...

Having stayed in Austria 5 times, I can simply say that my stay at the Furtners Lebensfreude Hotel has been the best experience of the alpine country yet. The staff are welcoming from the first minute you step foot into the hotel, to the very last. The staff will help you with anything, from packed lunches to some help with...

We stayed here for 6 nights over Christmas 2014 ( me, husband and 10 year old daughter) and met up with Italian friends who have stayed at this hotel several times. We cannot speak highly enough of the warm welcome and wonderful hospitality shown to us by the Furtner Family. The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas and they even...

We have stayed at this hotel three times in the summer, and it is most likely just as appealing at other times of the year. The hotel is quiet and cozy and is run by the Furtner family who are charming. There are lovely grounds, as the hotel adjoins a parkland area where golf is played. You won't find nightlife...

Stayed here in August through UK holiday company Inghams (very good service from them, and rep Lee was one of their best). Rooms - we had 2 rooms - my parents had 1 of the upgraded rooms on the 1st floor overlooking the golf course that was larger with a seating area and a bath; and I had an older...

This was our first visit to Pertisau and Furtners Hotel. We found the village a wonderful place to stay – whilst it’s a popular destination for day visitors they left by 5pm when the village became very quiet. Furthers is set just outside the centre and our room (207) looked out to the peak of the Tristenkopf embraced in the...
