Hotel Kössler is a wonderful hotel to enjoy your ski vacation to the fullest. From my point of view it stands out enormously from other hotels in the following points: Location: the location is optimal. It is one bus station away from the gondola station. The bus comes every 5 min, so in the worst case you are at the gondola within 10min. The way back is even easier, there is a valley run that leads up to 50 meters in front of the hotel. Furthermore, 2 ski-sport stores are direct neighbors to the hotel. Food: One of the best surprises was the food! The breakfast buffet is very extensive (eg incl. order scrambled eggs, etc.), also important for me personally is the good coffee. What really surprised was the daily evening 3-course menu with salad buffet. Every morning you could choose from 5 main courses. Overall, the food was very high quality. Organization: I am sure that we challenged the hotel with some spontaneous occurrences. However, we as customers felt nothing of this. Everything functioned smoothly. In general, the processes and the staff are so good that as a customer you hardly have to think about anything and it seems like things just fly to you as you need them. Further, the facilities are as expected. There is a sauna, a ski room and a ski boot room. The rooms are well equipped and are cleaned daily (if requested). All together a super place to go for an all-round "feel-good vacation"!…
I fell in love with this place and with the staff at the First sight. I have been at the Kossler with friends and kids and Karina have always been Ready to make us feel happy and at home. Hope to be able to come back.
Very friendly and helpful reception desk staff, great location even in summer, so close to Hintertux glacier. Room and bathroom was spacious, clean, everything what could be expected in 3 stars hotel. Good price. It is very close to the main road so that you can be disturbed by traffic noise.Breakfast staff looked as she is annoyed by guests.
Above all the family running this beautiful & Serene hotel are very friendly , kind & co-operative. On our arrival we were being showed each & every relevant thing. The whole hotel had been so tastefully decorated . Extremely clean room & a shared long balcony with flowers adorned & beautiful view. Spacious room , we had our 4.8 years old son they offered us in same price another room with extra bed for child. The place had Sauna . We were rejuvenated and just few steps ahead found Didi Pizzeria . We had Yummy pizza & pasta as take away . Also don't forget to drink from fresh water tap close to hotel. You can enjoy stroll from hotel even at night as its illuminated and so fresh. In the morning , Breakfast room and the Breakfast were good . There , they had toys box too for kids to play there. The beautiful mother & daughter were very helpful and we regret only staying there for one night. In that price & lovely owners warm presence , its worth staying longer!…
This small family hotel run by a lovely lady - Karina who is very helpful and caring. After staying there for a few days we felt as if we are old friends. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is splendid. We definitely want to come back there.
Wonderful, family run hotel. As a member of the British Disabled Ski Team, I always enjoy staying here for training camps - we are on the road for so long and it is wonderful to come 'home' to such a friendly hotel. The Mader family really go out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Definitely my favourite hotel in Austria! The food is varied, and tasty and the staff go to great lengths to cater for my special dietary requirements (dairy intolerance). Typical Austrian food, great salad bar, soup, choice of three main courses and desert. Continental breakfast. Nice sauna, bar and restaurant. Clean, bright and airy rooms and bathrooms with balconies. Comfortable beds. Lift.
We stayed at the Koessler Hotel in Hintertux for 3 weeks whilst on a summer training camp with the British Disabled ski team. The Mader Family who own and run the hotel could not have been more helpful or friendly. The rooms were spotlessly clean, bright and spacious and all with good views. All the beds had memory foam matresses and were so comfortable. The hotel is central to the village with a short walk to the lifts. There is indoor and outdooor parking if you need it. We were given storage space in the hotel garage for all our gym equipment, bikes and extra skis. There was also a very good ski tech room. We stayed on a halfboard basis and the food was exceptional. Breakfast was a large continental style buffet with cooked eggs. Supper was a salad buffet, soup, a chioce of three main courses including a good vegetarian option and a pudding.…
The owners and staff of this hotel were very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and furnished very nicely indeed. We took half board at the hotel and the food was good, particularly the breakfasts. The hotel has an adjoining bar which was a very nice place to sit and have a drink. The hotel is also directly opposite the ski bus stop and is only two minutes drive from the Hintertux gondola. Can't fault it!
