Everything in Sporthotel Kirchler was top notch. Very friendly and efficient service, clean and spatious rooms. Dinner menu was amazing; every night delight after delight. The location of the hotel is also very convenient. The bus stop is right next to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come and visit again!
During our alpine holidays, me and my friend stayed in 6 hotels and we both agreed hotel Kirchler was our favourite. Rooms are really spacious (bedroom, WC, restaurant, etc) and in every room family Kirchler took a great deal to details. Breakfast and dinner buffet always has a rich variety of choices; for one dinner event they also had a live-music. The staff is always friendly and a great mix between attentive and not-disturbing-guests. Only this year I have realized they have a spacious sauna area which is very clean and comfortable. The hotel is situated centrally at the town and the bus stop is just 20m away. A perfect location also.
We have been at Sporthotel Kirchler on last August for our summer holiday. We were 3 families for a total of 6 adults and 5 children. We know very well that Italian Tourists are the most difficult client to receive, but we really do appreciate the service and hospitality received from Family Kirchler. As we are Italian and we are very spoiled with food, someone of our group, especially children, has some problems with the dishes prepared from the chef, but the staff had tried to find out the best solution to let everyone of us eat at dinner. After a couple of dinner, we finded almost 2 baskets of bread waiting for us over the table, every evening. Armin and Claudia have been always smiling with our children. The beauty center was very nice, and you can be sure that as Mrs Kirchler will be at your disposal every morning to suggest you the place to go, Mr Kirchler will always find a moment to say you hello. So if you are looking for a relaxing holiday with breathtaking views, be sure this hotel is the right place. Cheers...…
The room was spacious and tidy. The spa area had several saunas and various showers. Only the large swimming pool is missing as the spa is in the basement and there is no access out. The breakfast was varied and sufficient. The half-care menu was varied and also offered vegetarian options. The overall service was excellent.
Spent a week in the Kirchler whilst skiing at Hintertux. Fantastic hotel, very comfortable, great staff who were always helpful and topped off with excellent food. We arrived late at hotel on Saturday night after long drive from UK. During drive the hotel contacted us to confirm arrival time and as we indicated a late arrival they offered to have some cold meats ready for us as we would miss evening meal. A cold meat selection was a poor description, the hotel had soup, cold meats and cheeses and dessert ready for us, and the cold meat plate really was a misnomer as they provided an amazing platter. We tried our best to do it justice but it was too much after a long drive. During our stay every meal was great, describing the Italian night buffet as a "pizza & pasta" night was very misleading - it was everything but this with an amazing selection off starters, main courses and desserts. The rooms our party had were very comfortable and really we cannot find fault. We have visited Lanersbach many times, but this was the first time we have stayed in the Kirchler, and I think we would use this again if we come back (a certainty really as the skiing on the glacier is so good). Finally, as we had an early depart, again the long across Europe drive to UK, the hotel provided us with a packed meal which was sufficient to get us most of the way home. I cannot praise this hotel and the staff too much, a fantastic place and we will be back.…
Almost every year a trip to Hintertux area is planned. During little over 1 week, it's nothing but sleeping, winter sports (and the occasional hike and après-ski), eating and having a good time for me. If that is your plan as well, this hotel is the perfect base of operations. Excellent accommodations (If you are single you can enjoy the comfort of a very large room), wonderful wellness in the basement, superb food and servicing and overall very friendly people. If there is something on the dinner menu that you don't like they are happy to help you with something else. The location is very good. If you want to enjoy a day of skiing/boarding at Eggalm, Rastkogel, Horberg or Penken you can easily access the lift to Eggalm by foot and from there ski/board towards the other areas. It's a bit further from the Glacier but there is a ski bus stop right at the hotel and in about 15 to 20 minutes you are at the base of the Glacier. Overall there isn't really anything bad to say about this hotel. The only thing that might be off putting is the price. This is not really low to say the least, especially if you are single. 7 nights will put you back a hefty 1000 EUR if you take a singles room. It's of course somewhat less if you are with more but not really that much but I have no experience with that since I always go alone.…
This is a fantastic hotel run by Carmen and her team. The rooms are stylish and large. The food is out of this world, especially the seven course gala dinner and not forgetting the Farmers Buffet night. The quality is exceptional (and we have travelled the world extensively for lease and business). Everything is taken care of by the super friendly and attentive team; all that is left for you is to relax, enjoy your holiday, ski and spa time.
This place is a real gem. The staff, led by Carmen, are so friendly and the food is amazing. From 7 course gala dinners to farmers buffets the standard is very high and the presentation exceptional. There are night time activities from curling to iceskating (both free) and fast downhill tobogganing (€5). The staff lead these activities and help make them fun and entertaining. I was in Tux skiing with my family and will definitely be back to the Sporthotel Kirchler. I can't recommend it highly enough.
It is a very nice hotel in a very nice town called Lanersbach! Very nice people, helpfull and they do everything to let you feel well at this hotel. Nice SPA facility, good food, lovely rooms with lovely views..... we are going back, that is sure!
It's a pleasure yet difficult task to write a good review for this hotel, first - such place is a hidden gem and it would be good to have it not too crowded ;) but also, as I am non native English speaker, I find it a bit difficult to find good enough wording... so let's keep it simple! The hotel itself is located in Tux, near the famous, all-year-round Hintertux glacier; it is just 6-8 min to drive or You can take the free skibus (100m to but stop). The hotel is elegant, Tirol-style, with nice fitted rooms, spacious restaurant and SPA. But what I have instantly spotted was the crew, all the hotel crew was very discreet yet helpful, they were just there when needed - but not too close ;) And I am happy to say the service and support for guests is great, being it the reception or restaurant. Now, regarding the restaurant, this is yet another chapter: I am a big fan of Tirolean cooking and I was heavenly satisfied with quality of meals - they were yummy, well and nicely served; I am not sure what I could even expect more? ;) The other topic is SPA - with three different saunas, jacuzzi and massage - and the latter one requires special highlighting for apres-ski treatment: this Gentlemen is a genius, even during short 30 min massage he was able to help relieving the after-ski pains and glitches; plus much more - wow, Sir - Thank You for that, I have been to many places with good massage but this calls for my personal #1 :) All in all - if You're seeking for a really fine place with excellent food and fantastic service - seek no longer (but please, leave one room for my next ski trip!!! :)…
