Luxurious little pension in a quiet, relaxing place. The interior is very velcoming with homely atmosphere. The breakfast is in the winter garden is a great experience, the service and the food selection is excellent. We would like to go back, and spend more time this magical place!

Absolutely wonderful, pet friendly B&B, set in gorgeous landscapes. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast is superb. Rooms are spotlessly clean, and you can see that a lot of thought went into the interior design! And best of all: pet friendly!!

Michaela greeted us as we were a bit late checking in. Check in is at 6:00pm and we were closer to 7:00pm due to the fact that we did get lost. Our GPS took us on some small back roads to get here. The property is beautiful and in a very scenic area. We were in Ahorn which is a room with a view of the river. It is a rather limited view of a small river running by the roadway. You can't actually see the river easily from the front window. The side window looks immediately over the roof of the conservatory below and further out, trees and landscaping. In retrospect, not sure I would pay for river view suite. The rooms may not be that much bigger than the others. They do offer an honor bar in the living area/conservatory. We did not take advantage but there was a nice selection. Breakfast was very nice and served beautifully. Easy drive to Hallstatt for the day. I would not like staying in Hallstatt as there were too many tour groups. Stay at Waldruhe instead!

This hotel is absolutely amazing. You can tell there's thought and care gone into every detail. The rooms, the kitchen (there were five of us, and we stayed in the apartment on the top floor), the amazing breakfast. Everything is new, clean and beautiful. The restaurant outside was wonderful as well, and the manager of the hotel was so sweet and attended all our needs. Highly recommended!!! Beautiful!

After bit of a hiccup with the booking via the establishment’s website (best to additionally confirm things by phone) we had a lovely weekend at Waldruhe. The staff were always friendly and helpful, the rooms, house and breakfast were well above what one would normally expect from a place advertising itself as a ‘B&B’, and the location is perfect. Definitely recommended – we hope to return soon!
