Nice small hotel located between Gent and Brugge with friendly owner, well equipped (minibar and television in the room), clean and comfortable room (we liked the fact it was nice and warm when we walked in on a cold winter evening) and a good breakfast. Stayed for 4 nights and were well happy. You do need a car to stay...

My daughter and I spent 2 nights at this hotel. My daughter had a swim competition in Gent that weekend and this hotel was only a 30-minute drive to the pool. The room was big and clean and so was the bathroom. I loved the fact that the room had a fridge. Breakfast was excellent. We had to leave early...

Great hotel! Very clean and the staff was very nice with us. The breakfast was excellent. From it's location is easy to reach both Brugge and Gent. The only negative point is the fact that is on a main and very busy road.

At first when we had just arrived to the hotel late in the evening, we were a bit disappointed - the hotel was standing just on the road and bodied no good. But we met such a warm welcome, and everything inside the hotel was so cosy and comfortable, that we forgot our first impression. Breakfast was as home-cooked and...

From the outside this hotel doesn't look very charming, maybe like an American style motel. However, once you enter through the cosy reception / bar area, nice, air conditioned rooms that provide all the needed amenities await you. While it is true that the hotel is next to a larger street, I did not find myself bothered by noise at...

Our room was very comfortable, with good king size bed, and the room had desk, 3 occasional chairs and low occasional table wardrobe and we could move around. There was an excellent bathroom without crystal walls, and with shower above head height for small people. Maybe the suggestions already made in reviews have been acted on. We had clean towels...

we did not like this hotel. The bedroom is not comfortable at all. It is just in the road and at night you feel like if you were in the road with lot of cars over you. The bathroom has a big crystal instead wall, so that if you want some kind of privacity you have to close the curtain....

My wife and I stayed just for one night on the way back to Calais. Very friendly and helpful, rooms clean and comfortable, lovely bed and especially luxurious pillows, warm room and separate heater in bathroom, plenty of piping hot water. The breakfast was excellent - lots of variety and very well presented. A lovely surprise was the bacon and...

We chose the Prelude because of its central locaton between Bruges, Ghent and Lille. Free wifi, parking, and breakfast included were attractive features. We spent 5 nights here at Eu90/night. The room was very comfortable with a king-size bed, mini-bar, flat-screen TV with BBC, CNN, etc channels. The bath was just that - the shower fixture was just above bath...
