Great home-base for visiting the historic sites throughout Normandy. Odille was a wonderful host, very helpful and made excellent breakfast. The location is about 25 minute drive straight south of Bayeux.

Odile is the most gracious, beautiful host we found in France. You will be hard pressed to find any one more hospitable. Her breakfasts are legendary, and kept you full till dinner. The omelettes are from her chooks, and the pastries fresh from the Baker. Odile then offers you a bag that you can take your pastries for lunch and...

My wife and I stumbled upon this charming B&B looking for a place to stay near La Plage du Debarquement (Normandy Beach). Odille is a very charming hostess and excellent cook. The moment we arrived, we were presented a bottle of cidre bouche (bottled hard cider) which I thoroughly enjoyed. The next morning we feasted on fruit preserves and regional...

From the comfortable bed to the delicious breakfast to friendly charming Odile this is a wonderful way to see the D-Day beaches and to experience rural Normandy. Odile provides many suggestions for places to find tradional Normandy meals. The setting on a real live working French farm is unique, quiet, beautiful.

This might just be the best Rick Steve's recommendation yet. There are now two locations available for lodging by the same owner..Odile DeLalande. The one we stayed in had just been opened and it is about a 5 minute drive from the original BB. In a village called Maisoncelles-Pelvey. We never got to see the rooms in the original site...

We had a great stay here. Our family of five loved to the 'blue room'. It was very clean with comfortable beds and very quiet.Odile is a wonderful grandmother type. Be careful she will give you so much food at breakfast it doesn't even fit on the table. The food is fresh from the Baker, her kitchen ,her farm or her...

We are a family of six and rented the entire gite for four nights in late May 2016. The house and property are delightfully restored and wonderfully maintained. The location is also fantastic for a tour of Normandy. What really sets this place apart, though, is Odile's hospitality. You absolutely have to arrange for breakfast every day, and seeing Odile...

When I think about our visit to Normandy, I instantly remember our overnight stay at this warm, clean, and cozy bed and breakfast. It is in a quaint village and you feel like you are part of a private community in this wonderful setting. We had a family room which was clean and bright and perfect for two parents and...

This was such a great spot. Definitely the highlight of the places we stayed all over France. Odile is so sweet and made an absolutely incredible breakfast. The farm is so charming and the rooms are very sweet. I was more than we could have hoped for!
