If you are looking for something simple with a good deal for a short trip this hotel is fine. It is very clean and rooms are adequate. Bathroom renovated but very small. It is not a wellness hotel but has one sauna which was working. Other sauna and steam bath were advertised but not in use. Bavarian food which is good but don't expect any fancy trimmings. Staff are friendly. There is not much to do and see in Frauenau but it is close to several other small towns and in a good area for walking. In general good value for money.
