The location of the hotel is quite good. Very quiet, the rooms are big, clean and furnished, the bathrooms are quite recent. I don't like those shower curtains but that's a personal preference. Wi-Fi is quite bad, couldn't get real access unless sitting by the repeater. I had no mobile network whatsoever. we had dinner in the restaurant, it's quite...

Great place to eat authentic German cuisine. We stumbled upon it on a "road trip' and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were welcoming and when you see the "locals" eating in the restaurant, you know the food is good!

I stayed here during a cycling holiday and it's in a very scenic setting. The staff were nice and were patient with me even though I know hardly any words in German. Free wifi was also great. The only minor negative point for me was that at check-in it all seemed a bit rushed as I feel it's nice to...

We stayed for a couple of nights here base dupon reviews we had and previous experience of Monschau . this is a unique place set in woodlands with a great walk to this lovely town set in three valleys. Great rooms, welcoming staff and a bar as well as great food. As long as the hunting lodge decor (and associated...

Although the review states that we stayed here last year it was in fact quite a few years ago,but nice to see it hasn't changed on a recent visit to Monschau, although we stayed at a different place this time, as there was no avaliability when we wanted at the time at the Perlenau, would definitely recommend this one.

The Perlenau is on the outskirts of Monschau in a very peaceful valley surrounded by trees. Our purpose was to visit the town of Monschau but we opted to be in more quiet surroundings and getting to the town was only a five minute drive away. The check in was very efficient and friendly, even though they didn't speak much...

Hotel Perlenau perfectly met my needs, as I was on a solo motorbike tour of Austria and Germany and, on my way back to the Channel coast, I wanted to spend a day exploring the Ardennes. I spent two nights in the hotel. The location was ideal, as Bastogne is less than two hours away on some lovely roads and...

Booked 3 nights through booking.com after searching the internet, turned out to be a good choice. The place is full of charm and has an alpine feel about it. Nice bed room with plenty of space, the restaurant served good food with friendly service. We were looked after most of the time by a young lady who was extremely helpful particularly as we...

The hotel entrance is nicely decorated with antique artefacts and hunting gear. The rooms are well furnished with nice wooden furniture. The rooms are clean and spacious, though not luxurious. The surroundings of the hotel are magnificent, with a 3km walk over a ridge to the town of Monschau. A little stream flows past the hotel, which produces a nice and...

I was heading from Brussels to the Eiffel and had time on my hands so headed the pretty way through Monschau. The Perlenau is out of town up the hill and down is a small valley beside a stream. In the summer it must be an idyllic spot - in autumn it was just wonderfully peaceful. My room was basic...
